Beef Stew With Wild Mushrooms

This is one of the best tasting stews I've made recently. I brown the meat in 4 batches using 1 T oil each. Boy, do I like "sopping up" the juice with a nice hearty piece of bread. Ummmmm! -- posted by Tastings by CeCe

Diety Mushroom Soup

I created this recipe while on a diet, but the rest of the family didn't mind eating it! A comfort food for chilly days. This would work as a lunch or dinner.
Golden Oyster Stew

This recipe comes from the February 2007 edition of Southern Living Magazine who suggests using only fresh oysters found in the fresh seafood department of your grocery store. Using canned oysters for this recipe is not recommended. Standard sized oysters are best for this stew. See *Note below for make ahead instructions & selecting oysters. -- posted by Bev

Vegan, Pureed Chickpea and Kidney Bean Curry Soup

This is an amazingly easy, healthy soup made from healthy beans and a few wonderful vegetables, then seasoned with Indian Spices and pureed! You can use canned beans and tomatoes which means this is easier to make than a frozen pizza! -- posted by Jay Antipolis

Honduran Coconut Seafood Soup (Sopa Catratcha De Mariscos Con Un

This soup is a mixture of delicious seafood and fresh vegetables with a slightly sweet taste. Taught to me by a friend during my time in Honduras. Maybe it's because I've been away for so long, but this is a food that I always crave! You can substitute many of the seafood items, especially for a quicker or easier recipe. Same goes for the vegetables. However, the thing that makes this soup distinct from other seafood soups is the coconut milk. -- posted by West Side Chef
