Crock Pot Short Ribs With Hoisin & Black Beans

Easy go to work and come home to dinner recipe. Add potatoes when you add the carrots (if there is room) if you wish but I prefer mashed potatoes or noodles. Tasty but not too spicy. Add more hot sauce if you want it hotter -- posted by Bergy

Crock Pot Asian-Style Short Ribs

Very tender chunks of meat with a great Asian flavor that will melt in your mouth. Not too spicy, but you can add more pepper if you like it hotter. You can buy five-spice powder, a spice much like star anise, in most Oriental markets. Goes great with rice and steamed or stir-fried veggies for a nice Asian meal. -- posted by Sue L

Crock Pot Honey-Mustard BBQ Short Ribs or Pot Roast

This is so easy to put together, and great served with cooked noodles. I have many crock pot recipes that I have collected over the years, and this is one of them, hope you enjoy! Please adjust amounts to taste. Double the sauce amount if using more than 3 pounds of beef. Add in a sliced onion also if desired. This will also work well with a small beef blade roast, you might want to brown the roast firstly before adding to the crock pot and double the sauce amount, cook until the roast is fork-tender. -- posted by KITTENCAL

Whew!
I think I checked all 87 short ribs recipes to be sure this one isn't posted, so here it is!
The original recipe came in a microwave cookbook that came with the oven, but using the slow cooker suits me better right now, so I've been making it that way.
Sounds really unusual, but is totally good!

Korean Style Short Ribs (Crock Pot)

I'm always looking for new recipes to make in my crock pot. Here's another easy and tasty one. I finally got around to making this I used pork spare ribs. I cooked them longer till they were falling off the bone. The sauce has a very good flavor. My husband was pleasantly surprised at the flavor.I found this in Family Circle Magazine. -- posted by barefootmommawv

Sounds delicious. Posted for safe-keeping. From Ladies Home Journal. Their nutritional info is VERY different from Zaar's for this recipe, I think Zaar is forgetting that there are bones in the ribs, not just 4 pounds of straight meat. LHJ version of nutrition: calories 480;

Spicy Soy Glazed Short Ribs (Slow Cooker)

The flavor on these ribs is slightly sweet, slightly spicy, and the meat melts in your mouth. Definitely easier than the traditional method of hours long attended cooking. These can be served as an appetizer/party dish (would serve 6) or as an entree (would serve 4).
Beef Short Ribs With Rigatoni

The success of this dish really depends on meaty ribs, or fatty ones, so get to know your butcher and look for well marbled ribs without a lot of fat. Ask for an English cut, which means pieces that are between 2 and 4 inches long. Slow cooking produces the tenderest and most delicious flavor and the entire casserole can be assembled and cooked hours before it is needed and just reheated, or cooked the day before. Either way, it is a winner.
Pressed for time? Try making this in a crock pot. Set it and forget it, and come home to a great dinner. -- posted by Cooks4_6

Slow Cooker Short Ribs

This is a wonderful slow cooker recipe for this type of meat, which tends to be pretty fatty. You might want to trim the fat before you brown the ribs. I didn't do that last time and I ended up cutting off a significant amount of fat off the ribs before I could serve them. But boy, are they yummy!
