Thin Crust Pizza Dough (ABM)

Thin crust lovers you are in for a treat. For exceptional pizza, go to your local Home Depot or Lowes store and buy unglazed quarry tiles. They are very inexpensive. Position your oven rack as low as it will go in your oven. Line oven rack with unglazed quarry tiles (I use about 6 in my oven). Preheat oven at 500 for about 1/2 hour. -- posted by luvmybge

My Whole Wheat Yeast Free Herbed Pizza Dough #111650 is a perfect match for this pizza and is the ONLY crust I use when making this pizza.
Greek Pizza on Phyllo With Feta and Tomatoes

Adapted from a recipe by Joanne Wier, this is an astonishingly wonderful change-of-pace for the pizza heads among us. Rich, but with a distinctly Greek "flava" this beautiful dish will make your evening. Wonderful to serve to company - very pretty, unusual, and TASTY! ADDENDUM: I've tried several great variations on this...using puff pastry instead of phyllo, substituting cream cheese for the mozzarella, adding some cilantro pesto to the cheese combo, and topping with sauteed onions, zucchini, yellow squash, and using chopped GREEN olives instead of black. Scrumptious! Use your imagination and run amok! -- posted by Pèllerin

Homemade Pizza With Mild Tomato Sauce

I like making this for my hubby because he loves pizza;. unfortunately he gets terrible heartburn whenever he eats it; but he hasn’t with this recipe. :), This is done before the pizza delivery would arrive! There is always something to throw on a pizza in your fridge. Top with whatever you like. In my opinion, the more the better; and since it makes 2 - 12 “ pizzas put whatever you want on one and make the other one different. I have used this recipe time and time again and my friends/family have secured this one as well. This freezes very well. For freezing instructions, see bottom of directions. -- posted by Summerwine

Mushroom and Garlic Pizza

From the April/May 2006 issue of Everyday with Rachael Ray magazine. This is such a simple pizza. I do think that the buttery flavor of the Pillsbury crust really compliments the combo of swiss, mushrooms, and garlic. I don't think that a standard pizza crust would blend as well with these topping, but that is just my opinion.
Rachael Ray's Vegeterranean Pizza

This is an easy-to-make, fabulous appetizer or main dish. Unlike other Mediterranean pizzas posted on the Zaar, this one features ricotta cheese as the base. The rest of the ingredients are easily substituted according to personal tastes. I like it with spinach, kalamata olives, sauteed mushrooms, and fresh Roma tomatoes. -- posted by Lindsey C.

Mediterranean Goat Cheese Pizza

This is my version of a fabulous pizza I had at the Flatbread Pizza Company. It's one of my absolute favorites and I even make it on the grill when it gets too hot to turn on the oven in the summertime. It also makes a great appetizer if sliced into small pieces. Using the combination of the non stick foil and the oven rack ensures a crispy crust that wont get stuck to the pan. -- posted by C.
Chicken With Raspberry Barbecue/Chipotle Sauce Pizza

Raspberry Preserves mixed with hickory barbecue sauce and mild, medium or hot diced green chiles with diced cooked chicken. You can substitute chipotle sauce for the barbecue sauce but it will be hot, hot, hot. Makes a huge pizza. Use my Beer Pizza Crust recipe #245161 or your favorite. Instructions for appetizers as well. I went to a fund raiser and tried a cracker with chipotle sauce and raspberry preserves and almonds and the cracker was soft. I tried to duplicate the sauce and came up with this recipe with hard crackers and scoops and my son's favorite, the PIZZA.. -- posted by Montana Heart Song

These little delights are easy and out of this world delicious! The pita pocket makes a lovely, crispy crust. I make one of these and pop it into my toaster oven and in about ten minutes have a "gourmet-style" lunch. Fantastic for cutting into quarters and serving as party appetizers too.
My Gourmet Pizza

I came up with this recipe about 10 or 15 years ago while I was getting into making bread. I like to use my hands when mixing and kneading doughs, but I'm sure that this will work fine in a bread mixer, as well. The dough will make 1 nice thick pizza or 2 thin pizzas.
Anna's Lactose-Free Supreme Personal Pizzas

My daughter has become sick recently, and as a result, has become lactose intolerant. She felt like she was missing out on dairy, etc. and she came up with these delicious little pizzas. She uses a vegetable derived cheese called Veggie Shreds. These pizzas are versatile- you can omit the chicken for a complete vegetarian version. You can also use real pizza dough if desired. Not lactose intolerant and looking for a great pizza recipe? Make using all regular ingredients for a delicious supreme pizza. Don't have spaghetti sauce in the house? Here's a trick- use a small amount of ketchup with a dash of italian seasoning- sounds weird, but tastes great nontheless! These pizzas can be popped into a toaster oven for a quick and nutritious snack. Enjoy! -- posted by edlos1

Creamy Ricotta Florentine French Bread Pizzas

This french bread pizza contains no pizza sauce, instead you use ricotta, spinach, and the "toppings" and top it off with creamy provolone cheese. This makes a great dinner of fun party starter. This pizza is meant to be super chunky so don't cut your veggies or meat too small.(The pepperoni should look like tiny pieces of pie.) If you want your pizza filled more, just use less bread. For a party, I cut mine into slices about and inch or two inches thick. Easy to make meat-free! I usually make a greek salad to go along with it, the tang from the salad is great with the creamy texture of the pizza! -- posted by Courtney R
