Slow Cooker Sausage and Peppers

I received this recipe in a weekly email that I've been getting from McCormick's website. I made this one day when I didn't want to spend a lot of time with last minute preparations for our Sunday meal. Italian sausage(sweet or hot) gives so much hardiness to a meal that there seems to be little reason to serve much else. We had this over spaghetti, but it could also be made for a super bowl party, and served from the crock spooned into rolls or buns. Hope you enjoy this as much as we have. -- posted by bshemyshua

Pork for Burritos - Succulent Spicy Carnitas Omac

Easy, Easy, Easy! A lighter version of the traditional Mexican roasted pork dish. The original title of this recipe is Succulent Spicy Carnitas, but if you are looking for the traditional flavor of carnitas this isn't for you. This easy recipe results in a flavorful pork, perfect for tacos or burritos. It is very mild in "heat" so you may want to add more chipotle. The predominant flavor comes from the cinammon. This recipe is perfect to store in the freezer and defrost in the fridge to make a quick after work meal. Serve with lime wedges, guacamole, salsa, sour cream and tortillas. From Lia Huber -- posted by cookiedog

Mediterranean Pork Chops

Not sure where my mother got this recipe, but it is tasty. She called it her easy pork chop and rice dinner. The recipe card she handed down to me actually calls it mediterranean pork chops. I know its sort of a cheat recipe because of the canned manwich, but it still is good and so easy! I am sure you could add some veggies to the mix to make it healthier! Give it a try! -- posted by Dissie

Pork Wraps

This is a quick easy meal for supper. I have added a tomato sliced and seeded and that was really good too. You can season the pork while sauteing but its not necessary. Of course the taste will vary depending on what barbecue sauce you use. I like this with thick and spicy barbecue sauce. Something different and kids like to wrap their own! I also have used chicken and it is equally just as good! -- posted by Dissie

Golden Pork Chops

A simple, and surprisingly low fat (though certainly not low-sodium) entree that seems to just improve over time. The first pork chop recipe I've ever had that reheated well. You can use any type of pork chop you choose, I have used everything from center cut to sirloin, bone-in, boneless, it's all the same.

The soup not only tenderizes the pork, it also serves as a perfect gravy, with no additional work required. -- posted by Izzy The Terrible

Perfect Pork Chops

This recipe is a combination of two good recipes that I've come across in my searches. It was mostly an experiment, but it turned out absolutely delicious. It pleased the picky eater of my family too! I haven't tried the flour mix on any thing else, but I bet it'd be great on chicken or fish. This is the only way I make my fried pork chops now! Also, I tried to write this so that even the worst cook could be successful with it, because I remember what it's like to be inexperienced. Hope the more experienced cooks don't mind :) -- posted by Cypress

Southwest Chipotle Pork

An excellent Pulled pork recipe can be put on a bun or in a wrap. I usually use only 1 onion and 2 peppers. If you like spicy don't seed the chipotle peppers. I use 2 of them instead of 1.

If you wish to do this on the stove use medium heat for 2 to 3 hours and mind to add water, as a pot lets moisture escape and a slow cooker does not. -- posted by Matts Lotus

Roasted Pork Chops With Caramelized Quince

This is a meal suitable for a cool, autumn dinner. The pork chops turn out moist and savory and pair nicely with the sweet and somewhat tangy flavor of quince. I like to eat a slice of quince with each bite of pork chop, as the combination reminds me of harvest season. If you are unable to find quince, two large apples would substitute well (any tart variety such as Macintosh, Granny Smith or Cortland). -- posted by MarthaStewartWanabe

Caramelized Onion Stuffed Pork Loin With Crispy Onion Topping

This stuffed pork loin is moist and tender with sweet and savory flavors. It is stuffed with a mixture of caramelized onions, garlic, sage and rosemary. It is coated with Char Crust Sun-Dried Tomato & Garlic Rub and topped with crispy, browned thin-sliced onions. If you do not have this brand of spice rub, Italian seasoning would be a fine substitute (Note: In addition to Italian seasoning, you will also need to season the pork with salt and pepper to taste). -- posted by MarthaStewartWanabe

Easy Tasty Pork Roast

I looked and didn't find any pork roast made this way. This is the way I have made a Pork Butt Roast our entire marriage of 48 years. It is easy and oh so tender, juicy and delicious. I always serve it with mashed potatoes and make gravy from the rich drippings. If you make a large roast the leftovers can be made into many other dishes...even BBQ pork sandwhiches if you simmer some of it in BBQ sauce until it is absorbed. -- posted by CarrolJ

Steamed Taiwanese Meatloaf

Got this recipe from my friend's mom, who makes it with pork. I haven't tried it with the pork, only turkey. Kids love this recipe - it goes well over rice. Best part is that it takes no time at all to make. On days when I don't have time, I simply mix everything together beforehand, cover it in saran wrap and throw the Corel bowl (which I can put directly into a steamer) into the fridge until 30 minutes before dinner time. To avoid using the chicken bouillon I have tried using chicken broth, but I really see no difference in taste. So I normally just make it using water and skipping the chicken bouillon altogether. -- posted by Fluffkins
