Fresh Vegetable Pizza Appetizer

One of my favorite make-ahead, deliciously different appetizers for a party! Everyone love it and asks for the recipe. DH doesn't like broccoli and he loves this pizza, as all vegetable flavors blend after overnight refrigeration. I'd guess it serves about 24+ people with little 1-inch square bites. Leftovers, if there are any, can be refrigerated for about 2 days. -- posted by BeachGirl

Hurry up and get a taste, because this will be gone, before you know it.
Pepper-Jack & Spinach Pizza Pie

I love this pretty little pizza, not just for its amazing flavors but also for how quick it is to put together. I am not a big fan of tomato sauce on pizza so this pizza is one of my favorites. The pepper-jack cheese is wonderful! I use fresh spinach; if you want to use fresh spinach, remove stems, wash well and tear into large pieces. Saute the spinach in some of the bacon fat until it begins to wilt. Squeeze dry and combine with the other ingredients, as indicated in step two. Approximately three pounds of fresh spinach will equal the amount of frozen spinach used here, but if you don't mind a pie with less spinach then one pound will suffice. WINE: A nice Australian Shiraz with its plum and blackcurrant flavors and its slight whisper of black pepper is a great accompaniment for this cheesy pizza. -- posted by NcMysteryShopper

Pizza Dough Bread Machine

I used sparkling water just because I ran out of bottled water and I'm not a fan of tap. Give this a try.
The optional ingredients can be skipped or changed to which spices you enjoy for a little something extra. Of course you would use the garlic for savory pies and cinnamon for dessert or curry type pies. But if using real garlic and not powdered do add after rising. Because garlic does kill yeast. I have made the dough with powdered garlic with no problems.

Bistro Onion-Jalapeno Pizza

Store-bought refrigerated pizza dough (Pillsbury brand) works well for this or use your own favorite recipe, this can also be baked in a 9 or 10-inch pie plate instead of a baking pan, don't try to bake this in a regular pizza pan the cream mixture will run over the sides! I use roasted garlic oil in place of the olive oil, if you have any use it for this and just omit the fresh garlic or use both, or you can use roasted fresh garlic added to the onion mixture. If you have a light coloured metal baking dish, this would be the best to use in place of glass as the crust will bake out better. Prep time does not include make the pizza dough, cooking time is only for the last 15 minutes of cooking, I have made this many times, it's very good! -- posted by KITTENCAL

Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza

The secret to this delicious pizza is to pre-bake your crust firstly and brown your beef well, then top as stated in directions and bake just to heat through and until the cheese has melted. This is a hearty pizza that can be made using store-bought refrigerated pizza dough or homemade, just make certain to pre-bake the crust before topping. This can also be made using a store-bought Boboli pizza crust. The success of this recipe will also depend on your pizza sauce, I use my recipe#65641 it is a hearty full-flavored pizza sauce that works well for this recipe and of coarse any pizza! You can add in some green bell peppers and jalapeno peppers to the ground beef mixture also if desired. The ingredient amounts are enough for one 12-inch pizza, you can double the complete recipe to make two if desired. -- posted by KITTENCAL

Pizza Casserole

My family loves this casserole! the crust for bakes up high and tender with pizza sauce swirled through the batter, you can really use as much pizza sauce and toppings as you desired, the amounts listed are only a guideline, but the more pizza sauce you use the better this will be so don't be shy on the sauce ;-) I use recipe#65641 but you can use your own favorite pizza sauce recipe for this. Make certain to completely top the crust with pepperoni or salami slices so it will hold the other ingredients on top without sinking into the crust, besides the pepperoni or salami slices you can really top this with whatever favorite pizza toppings you desire don't omit the green bell pepper, it makes this casserole! Plan ahead the crust mixture needs to chill for 1 or more hours before topping, prep time includes chilling time --- you will *love* this! -- posted by KITTENCAL

Creamy Chicken Pizza Topping

A local pizza joint makes a creamy chicken pizza which is one of my favourites so I thought I'd try to recreate it. They use mushrooms whereas I've used pineapple because I always like the extra sweetness and moisture that pineapple gives to a pizza. I've assumed you are already armed with a pizza base and know how to use it, personally I used Recipe#256080 and cooked on an outdoor grill but then browned a little under a grill. For a fresh dough it's best to pre-cook a little because otherwise the liquid will seep in and make it soggy. I used the quantities listed to top to a 35cm / 14" pizza, it tends to spread out a bit while cooking so make sure you cook in a well sized tray. -- posted by Peter J

Skillet Pizza Dough

You can prepare this skillet pizza dough up to 1 day in advance. Refrigerate the covered bowl of dough and let rise overnight for up to 24 hours. When ready to use, punch down the dough and allow an extra 30 minutes to 1 hour for the second rise in the skillet. For whole wheat dough, use 3/4 cup whole wheat flour and 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. You will need a cast iron skillet to bake this dough. Recipe is from Rachael Ray.
Easy Rolled Pepperoni-Mozzarella Bread

there really is no exact measuring to this recipe, amounts I have listed are only a guideline you may decrease or increase all amounts to suit you taste, I just purchase a small chub of pepperoni pizza and then chop about half of it for this recipe, and I have also made this using all-beef salami --- make certain to seal up the edges of the bread dough or pizza dough tightly before baking or the cheese will run out --- I have made this with bread dough and also with pizza dough, although the pizza dough was great the bread dough was better, you have a choice of either one you desire -- posted by KITTENCAL

Potato and Rosemary Pizza

Adapted from a recipe in 'The Australian Women's Weekly's Cooking on a Shoestring'. If you aren't vegetarian and you can stretch your shoestring to include bacon, a couple of rashers of bacon tastes great as an additional topping. I've added a couple of extra herbs to the original recipe that had only the rosemary and, if you're making this, I'd encourage you to use whatever are your favourite herbs. I've included the pizza dough from the original recipe but I've also made this with Recipe #4892, which I found when checking on Zaar before posting this recipe. It also makes a deliciously crisp and flavoursome pizza base. The preparation time below includes the 60 minutes standing dough when making the dough. -- posted by bluemoon downunder

Herb and Goat Cheese Pizza

This pizza combines the earthiness of sage, rosemary, and thyme in an aromatic topping. Sage and rosemary impart a slightly piney flavor with citrus undertones.
