A great recipe to make if you have a bunch of veggies and odd ingredients lying around!

			<title>Spaghetti, Roasted Asparagus, Beans With Lemon and Walnuts</title>

			<description>Now, I know I have another lemon pasta dish with asparagus ... This isn't the same. Even though It is close, I consider this more a main dish  where the other to me is more of a side dish with the mayonnaise and cheddar cheese as a dressing.

This is a quick dinner with tons of flavor. No onions and sauce is creamy but still light with the lemon flavor. The roasted vegetables and baby arugula just make all the difference. I copied this from a restaurant I ate in Northern FL a few years ago and it was so good.

Note: if you want you can down on the cream a little and add some of the pasta water to thin out the sauce. You could also use a lighter cream if you want. I usually start out with 1/2 cup, and then add a little more. But 1 cup is really which I think works best.

The second time you serve this, you better put it on the table and get out of the way FAST cause they are going to knock you down trying to get to it.  It's a recipe that I have developed through years of making it over and over and over.  This is the best version I have been able to create.  NOTE: This recipe is to be used with 1/2 pound of spaghetti. If you are using 1lb of spaghetti, double the recipe because there won't be enough sauce for a full pound.  If you are doubling it, don't double the lemon juice or it'll be too tart, just bump it up to 3 Tbsp. and only bump the lemon pepper up to 3/4 tsp or it will be too salty for some people. You just mix all the ingredients on the stove and come back and hour later.  The onions get meltingly soft and sweet.  It'salso great with some crumbled blue cheese. 
If you use homemade pasta, which is more absorbent than spaghetti, you should start with 1 tbsp more butter when making the sauce.
TO MAKE AHEAD : You can cook the sauce entirely in advance up to the point where you add the parsley. 			<description>The original recipe came from the San Francisco Chronicle.  The original recipe calls for arugula (which I love) but it's hard to find sometimes, so I switched to fresh spinach.  If you can find an Italian tonno in olive oil (Bumble Bee has one in the gold can which I can easily find), then it's worth the extra money to use.  However, I have used tuna in water when it was all I had in the pantry.  Just drain the water and add a little olive oil to the can, since this tuna is a bit drier than the Italian version.  Let it marinate for about an hour, then drain it and use. Canned tuna has never tasted so good!!!   I love this recipe for a quick dinner that I can throw together out of the pantry in less than 30 minutes, and DH was surprised how good it was when he first tasted it.  This is a good base recipe to add extra goodies (sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms, artichokes, black olives, capers, etc.). 			<description>I first was introduced to this recipe when I was reading the book, &amp;quot;Belong to Me&amp;quot;, when the main character &amp;quot;would have sold her soul&amp;quot; for a plate of this. I had to do further research and hours later, found a recipe that I was happy with sharing. There are American versions of this and Italian versions of this. The Italian version has you begin by reducing the anchovies into a paste, reducing their fishy taste. It also has you cook the sauce longer, mingling the flavours and reducing the tomatoes into their own paste. Although excellent the 1st day, it is even better the second so plan ahead to make more! And please, RESIST the urge to cover this with cheese!
