Best Grape Salad

I got this recipe from a coworker at the salon I work at. I didn't think it would be so wonderful and addictive!! Its very creamy and sweet, and a great mix of flavors. It will be the best thing you ever use grapes for!! (except maybe wine!) -- posted by Jamie Renee

This is another recipe that I haven't tried yet, so I can't vouch for it, but I think it looks good. I'm often drawn to recipes that are a little bit out of the ordinary, and I've never had carrots and grapes together before. I'm intrigued. :-) -- posted by Rainberry Blues

Naples Grape Pie

The small town of Naples, New York, located at the Southern tip of Canandaigua Lake, is famous for its grape pies! This recipe is from Irene Bouchard, who is universally recognized as the mother of Naples' grape pies, if not their actual inventor! Her pies were featured on an episode of the Food Network's "Food Finds" that focused on the specialties of the Finger Lakes. The prep time does not include the 5 hours sitting time. -- posted by Kree

Fresh Grape Salsa

This salsa is wonderful - sweet, sour, and a little spicy. We usually enjoy it with tortilla chips, but it can also be used as an accompaniment to fish or chicken dishes like other fruit-based salsas. It can be made with any color of seedless grapes, but red grapes are especially pretty with the green onions, chilies and cilantro. -- posted by KizmitRuby

Grape & Yoghurt Bake

Delicious as they are raw, there are more ways of eating grapes than just plucked fresh from the vine. This fruit which is one of our oldest fruit crops (vine roots dating back to before the great ice age have been found in China) is high in dietary fibre, Vitamin A, C and potassium and contains antioxidants that cleanse the skin, liver, kidneys and bowels. So why wouldn't you want to also use grapes in cooked desserts? This delicious and quick to make dessert is from an April 2005 issue of 'Fresh Living'. As you'll see from the notes on variations below, this is a highly versatile recipe that really allows you to do your own thing with a basic idea. Hope that you enjoy it! -- posted by bluemoon downunder

Orange, Strawberry and Kiwi Salad (Ww)

A refreshing fruit salad that is especially good at breakfast. If you prep it the evening before, don't add the mint until morning or it just kind of bitter. Yes, I learned that the hard way. ;) 1 WW point per serving. -- posted by Marg (CaymanDesigns)

Waldorf Salad

Inspired by Ruby Tuesday's Waldorf. The recipe is identical except for the grapes, the oranges, and possibly the exact type of apple. I also imagine they use regular mayonnaise, sour cream, and sugar. I don't use measurements for this one, so I guesstimated it. I like lots of dressing on mine. See http://www.recipezaar.com/306406 for recipe of the candied pecans. -- posted by Rowenna

Arizonica Grape Preserves

This recipe has been adapted from another homesteader in the UK. It uses native grapes to my area and locally grown in my front yard. I substituted local agave nectar for the sugar at a ratio of 1 cup sugar to 3/4 cup agave sugar. It is enough to preserve a dozen 1/2 pint jelly jars. Each jar has 16 servings of 1 Tbsp. -- posted by Dæl de Sunne Hamstede
