Mmm, these sure are nice!  The egg substitute is courtesy of Recipe #104832. It adds nutrients and eliminates bad fats. One thing worth noting, though, is be sure to grease your waffle iron well before making and in between waffles! Also, be careful to cut your apples very small or your waffle iron wont like it. 			<description>This is great simple recipe I found online.  It is great for clearing out your fridge.  I saute any misc veggies I have laying around such as mushrooms and spinach and add them to the mix.  These can also be put into casings and refrigerated.  The colder the rice the easier it will be coat in bread crumbs.  I can't say how long because they never lasted longer than a day or so. You can make your own yogurt at home with only milk and a bit of yogurt. Very easy, no yogurt maker required. I have been making it for a few years and know that anyone can make this. It makes great yogurt especially if you use whole milk; very creamy and thick. You can use nonfat milk but it is a little thin and the consistency isn't that great compared to with more fat. It is best to go with 2% or whole. You can adjust the cinnamon and vanilla to your tastes.  Top with real maple syrup or fruit preserves.  I used whole milk because my son is under 2, but you can easily use 2% or skim.  He loves to eat these pancakes.  I spread the left overs on a cookie sheet and place them in the freezer for a few hours. The taste is similar to english muffins or mild injera (Ethiopian flatbread). The texture is amazingly light, almost frothy, but still chewy, holding its shape with no problem.

The oatmeal gives the biscuits a nuttier flavor and they end up tasting more like a blueberry muffin than a biscuit.  The batter is rather runny, so I recommend you use a cookie scoop when putting them on the baking sheet.  I was given this recipe by a friend in WWs. 			<description>There are many, many versions of Seviyan (&amp;amp; spelling), you will find it differs from house to house &amp;amp; of course there are regional variations. Seviyan is the name of the toasted vermicelli used to make sweets aswell as savoury dishes in countries such as Pakistan &amp;amp; India. It is eaten throughout the year but comes into it's own during Ramadan. This is great fro Suhor (the morning meal before dawn) or as a desset after Iftar (the evening meal). I also like to make this a little drier &amp;amp; reduce the sugar somewhat. Recently I discovered that it's fun to swap the almonds &amp;amp; pistachios for a handful of prepared 'tropical fruit &amp;amp; nut mix' like you find in the health food shops &amp;amp; supermarkets). Seviyan is easy to find in most Asian supermarkets as well as the international isle in your regular supermarket - where it'll be sold as Pakistani Vermicelli. 			<description>Wonderful for a weekend brunch. My whole family absolutely loves it. Lots of flavor from the onions, chives, and bell pepper. There are lots of variations of this recipe but I like that this one uses milk instead of sour cream or cream cheese which are high in fat and this one still has just as much flavor. It came from Debbie Macomber's Cedar Cove Cookbook that a friend got me for Christmas. I only switch the whole milk to 1 % and keep the skillet at medium-low instead of low when making the sauce. Can easily be doubled to serve more people. When I do, I use a 12 oz package of bacon and a 1 lb 14 oz bag of hash browns since that's what they usually come in anyways. Also, the easiest way to snip the chives is with kitchen scissors. So much faster than with a knife! 			<description>This recipe was designed in answer to a request from my son for crocodile muffins. The pear skins are the crocodile skin, the peaches are the eyeballs and the butterscotch chips are the teeth. My version is wheat, egg, and (almost) dairy free, but feel free to switch it up and use eggs and milk if you prefer. I haven't found dairy free butterscotch chips, so you could leave them out of the recipe if you needed to.
