An easy, economical and tasty meal. My mother would make this for our family of 12 quite often and we always looked forward to it. I always add more tarragon. In place of the cheddar cheese, I melt Velveeta on top. Quick, easy and delicious. Enjoy! -- posted by Penelope P

If you love Pasta Salad, this will be your new favorite recipe! This was actually submitted to us by one of our happy customers who couldn't wait to share the recipe! Try using different types of sausage (Mild, Hot, Traditional) and experiment with different pastas - each time you'll get a slightly different taste and texture! Angel Hair works best for us, so try that first and let us know if you like it! -- posted by Premio Foods

Crockpot Beef and Beans

This is one of our "winter" recipes. It's almost a chili, but not quite. Tastes great over white rice, or serve with cornbread or crackers. Very filling. Recipe does not call for water, but I add some just to give it a little more of a "soupy" quality. (the can sizes on the beans are guesses, I didn't look when I picked them up, use standard size cans). -- posted by RHOS

Basque Chorizo

This is a new take on the old Basque chorizo recipe that I am still tweaking
to get just right. It can be stuffed into hog casings, or used in place of h-burger
for anything from chile, to lasagne also good with eggs or as a sandwitch.
When cooking be carefull it is very juicy and needs to be poked when cooking
in casings (It'll squirt). -- posted by Chef #1279881

Zesty Homemade Spaghetti Sauce

Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas

My kids use to ask me to make these enchiladas on a weekly basis. It is a recipe I created so some of the measurements are not exact, and for that I apologize. I do think you cooks can figure out the simple things that are left to chance. These are so easy and super good. I have tried using FF sour cream, and I don't think they turns out quite as yummy. I hope your families will love them as much as mine have over the years. Feel free to write me if you have questions.
Crock Pot Beef Chili Beans

Very easy to put together. I have a 6qt All-clad crock pot with the insert that I'm able to use on the stove top as well, which comes in sooo handy. Otherwise, just brown your beef in a large skillet, drain, and transfer to your crockpot. This makes a good size batch so if your crock pot is much smaller, just try cutting the recipe in half. If you work during the day, this can be thrown together the evening before, stuck in the fridge, then started before you leave for work. Can't get any easier than that! -- posted by Noni Suzanne

Easiest & Tasty Vegetable Quiche

Pasta Alla Cacio E Pepe

This is purported to be "the best quick meal" we've ever tasted, as per Yvonne Ruperti in Cook's Illustrated. There are two other recipes for cacio e pepe (pasta with Pecorino Romano cheese and black pepper) on RecipeZaar, but this one adds at least one more ingredient to keep the cheese from turning into a big clump. Add cream. This recipe was reprinted as "recipe of the week" in The Week magazine. -- posted by Kumquat the Cat's friend

Slow Cooker Beef Stew With Guinness

The meat in this stew is the most tender I have ever had. This recipe is a combination of two that I put together, one which I liked the cooking technique and the other that I liked the flavor of. I would suggest testing your slow cooker to see if it cooks hot. Ours does, so 8 hours does it for optimal tenderness. My husband likes it served over plain egg noodles, but I prefer it by itself. -- posted by Chef #1249089

Easy Hearty Chili

This is a hearty chili without tomato chunks. If you prefer chucks of tomato in your chili use diced tomatoes instead of tomato sauce. This is just enough for a lunch for my husband, our toddler, and myself, but if we need a bit more I'd go to the 22 oz size of tomato sauce and or beans. Do not leave out the salt since the little bit really brings out the other flavors. IF you making a large pot to have left overs leave out the salt since chili always gets saltier as it stores. I started with another chili recipe I found here, but we made several modifications so I am posting it as is. -- posted by Vyrianna

Burgundy Beef Portabella

A recipe edited to our taste. The original was from Rachel Ray and called Four-Season Burgundy Beef out of her 30 minute meals book. The end product didn't have enough kick so we added a couple of items, put more in of some ingredients, less of others, etc. Like any cook, you'll end up adapting it to your own taste; we sure enjoy this one though! -- posted by Ian Magary

Becky's Chili

I got this recipe from my friend. I have been making chili for years, and recently made her recipe, and my family raved over how delicious it was. I'll never make my old recipe again. Absolutely delicious. The corn is optional but we really like it. Also, I do not cook the celery with the ground beef so it is a little crunchy, which is what I prefer. If you prefer, cook it with the beef and onion. I make this in a large crock pot, but you certainly could do on the stove top. You also can substitute any of your favorite beans for the kidney beans. -- posted by home4my2

Emily's Easy Cheesy Vegetable Soup

My friend, Emily, shared this recipe with me at my bridal shower. Its a quick, easy, tasty meal for cold winter days. I like preparing it in a crock-pot instead of on the stove to avoid burning the cheese. Emily also told me that while any mixed veggies will do, Veg-All is her favorite and I agree! I use low sodium cream of chicken soup, since left-overs tend to get salty in the fridge over time. -- posted by Chef #1067801
