			<description>I love banana bread!  Unfortunately, it is always loaded in fat when you buy it or follow traditional recipes.  There are tons of low fat recipe options out there but the always take out the walnut.  Removing them will take away from those &amp;quot;scary numbers&amp;quot;  we all watch; however, walnuts are such a rich source of nutrition that they are worth keeping. 
Side Note: Many people use &amp;quot;Splenda&amp;quot; as a sugar substitute, if you get an icky aftertaste try Stevia, like &amp;quot;Truvia&amp;quot;.  I personally prefer &amp;quot;Sun Crystal&amp;quot;, a mix of natural sugar cane and stevia. I love these kinds of appetizers because they don't take much time, this one is vegan -- so almost anyone can eat it. I like to serve them with Pita Crisps: preheat oven to 375&amp;ordm;F. Split 6 pitas hrizontally into circles, then cut each circle into 6 triangles. Lay them in a single layer, rough side up, on 2 or 3 baking sheets. Use a pastry brush to brush triangles with olive oil, then sprinkle with fennel seeds and a pinch of sea salt or instead of fennel and sea salt use Mrs Dash salt free seasonings. For example: Table Blend, Original or Garlic &amp;amp; Herb, these have a flavor all their own -- try it you might like it. I found it at The Food Channel while trying to find something similar here and couldn't find anything, after asking and receiving permission to repost it here, I'm excited to share it with everyone on RecipeZaar! The only difference I made to it was using mostly almond extract and a touch of vanilla in the whipped cream, and because I don't have alchohol on hand I used grape juice in place of the chambord.
