Chocolate Gremlins

Posted by lazyme

Made these for my After School Groups halloween party. Mixed reviews from the kids; some said too sweet, some said yummy but hard to bite. The grown ups loved them! — SoupCookie Nov 11, 2009

Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Red Onions

Posted by KateL

The smell of this cooking was super! I did add about 5 strips of bacon, torn and partly pan cooked. Tossed the onions in with the bacon for a bit then tossed it all in the roaster pan with the sprouts. Made for Canadian Thanksgiving. — SoupCookie Oct 17, 2009

Pumpkin Pancakes

Posted by c0dphish

These were great! I did add a full tsp. of cinnamon because we enjoy more spice. I also added a 1/4 tsp. nutmeg and scattered in a few butterscotch chips! Makin' these again soon! — SoupCookie Oct 4, 2009

I was looking for a lower fat version of an apple muffin but couldn't find one i liked, so, I revamped your recipe. Omitted nuts, used light margarine, 1% milk, 2 egg whites beaen till frothy, and oat bran in the topping instead of flour; baked... — SoupCookie Oct 3, 2009

Crock Pot Beef Stew

The flavour was alright (we used reduced sodium ingrdients), however, it was way too thick for us. — SoupCookie Sep 26, 2009

Smokehouse Cauliflower Medley

Posted by daisygrl64

This made the kitchen smell yummy! I baked this in the oven at 400F for 15 min's, stirring it up twice. I omitted pimento's and only used 1/2 tsp. mustard powder (personal preferences). It turned out well and i'll make it again! — SoupCookie Aug 29, 2009

Pineapple Coconut Popsicles

Unfortunately, these weren't anyones fav's. They tasted rather like plain yogurt, even though I added vanilla for extra flavour. — SoupCookie Aug 12, 2009

Rhubarb Rolls

Posted by QueenJellyBean

These were super good! This is the best way i've eaten rhubarb so far, and even my anti-rhubarb daddy-o thought these were terrific! I loved how quick the dough came together, FYI - i used a 9x9 square pan and the rolls fit perfectly! I also... — SoupCookie Aug 9, 2009

Barefoot Contessa's Oven Roasted Bacon

Posted by Juenessa

Bacon will never touch a frying pan in my house ever again!!!! I lined my pan with foil and used a small cooling rack to rest the bacon on so the fat dripped away. Crispy, crunchy, yum! — SoupCookie Aug 1, 2009

Healthy Broccoli-Bacon Salad

I doubled the recipe for a family gathering. I did make 2 sub's and one mit though. Sub's garlic-whitewine vinegar(didn't have any cider vinegar handy) and tasted crushed almonds instead of water chestnut and omit'd the cranberries. Everyone... — SoupCookie Aug 1, 2009

House Ketchup

Posted by MarieAlice

Found that the vinegar's were too over-powering. Added garlic & onion powder's, honey and paprika in hope of balancing it out, but to no avail. I hate wasting food so i'm going to find another purpose for the sauce. — SoupCookie Jul 18, 2009

Pierogie Broccoli and Ham Bake

Posted by *Parsley*

Mmmm! This was yummy! I used 15 regular size pyrogies and added about an extra 1/2 cup ham. I also made my own cheese sauce(Quick Cheese Sauce) as I dislike canned cheese soup. I'll certainly be making this again! — SoupCookie Jul 9, 2009

Basic Pancake Mix

Already reviewed but wanted to say that I made up a double batch of dry mix and brought it camping. Mixed it with the eggs/milk/applesauce/vanilla while sitting around the fire and cooked them over an "open flame". They turned out extremely well... — SoupCookie Jul 2, 2009

Instant Oatmeal Packet Muffins!

Posted by HulaHealthPrincess

Super muffin! Batter came together in no time and mine only needed 15 min. bake time. I used regular apple-cinnamon oatmeal and cut the sugar to 1/4 cup. They came out really soft with a bit of a crisp on the outside and not overly sweet,... — SoupCookie Jun 28, 2009

Crash Hot Potatoes

Posted by momEgodess

These were nice. I liked how creamy they were...didn't crisp well for me. However, unlike a regular baked potato, these ones don't dry out when reheated in the microwave. Spices added: garlic powder, onion powder, italian seasoning. — SoupCookie Jun 16, 2009
