Portuguese Spinach & Chickpea Soup (Sopa De Grao)

I used small dried chickpeas and a carton of vegetable broth. The soup went over well and also reheated well. I was tempted to add cayenne pepper, but resisted this time. I'll definitely make it again. — m.c.d. Jul 9, 2009

Authentic Biscotti

This one is definitely a classic. I liked the idea of using all olive oil, and I now do this with other biscotti recipes, too. I usually cut the recipe in half to fit onto my baking stone. — m.c.d. Nov 9, 2008

Pistachio Biscotti

These biscotti are great! I've made them a few times, replacing the butter with more oil and the zest with a little lemon extract. I prefer making two logs for smaller cookies, rolling them out with more flour to make them easier to handle. — m.c.d. Nov 9, 2008
