Downunder Cheese Puffs

Posted by Missy Wombat

Simple, fast, easy, and awesome. I used whole-wheat flour and a combination of Swiss, cheddar, and Monterey Jack cheeses. When using "large teaspoonfuls," I found that the recipe made quite a bit more than 18 puffs, so you might want to revise... — Cosima Sep 5, 2009

Mama's Cilantro Cream Sauce

Posted by mama's kitchen

Fantastic! I don't like onions, so I used garlic instead, and I didn't have any limes so I used lemons. I looooooove cilantro so much, thank you for this! — Cosima Aug 30, 2009

Raw Tomato Cilantro Soup

Posted by vigilant20

Wow, this was AMAZING! Cilantro and tomatoes are two of my most favorite things in the world, so this was perfect. I used garlic instead of shallots, and used waaaay more cilantro than in the recipe. Absolutely delicious, thanks for this! — Cosima Aug 30, 2009

Raw Brownies

Posted by moonpoodle

Oh. My. Lord. These are AMAZING! My mom and I thought they were simply orgasmic. I used prunes instead of dates, raisins instead of cherries, carob powder, almonds instead of walnuts, and honey. The only complaint I have is that it was too sweet,... — Cosima Aug 23, 2009

Low-Cal Mug Cake

Posted by Chef #1111060

Amazing! I too was shocked by the calorie count in the other recipes. I did change this one a bit though. I used carob powder instead of cocoa, unsweetened vanilla almond milk instead of cow's milk, baking soda/cream of tartar substitute instead... — Cosima Aug 22, 2009

Tempeh Gyros and Tzatziki

Posted by Howiesar

I just made the gyro "meat," and it was a huge hit! Everyone loved it, even the neighbor kid who only eats junk food. I think that next time I'll be making it without the cinnamon, though. It doesn't work well with the other savory flavors. Thanks... — Cosima Aug 22, 2009

Almond 'feta Cheese' Spread With Herb Oil (Vegan)

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Wish I Could Cook

Amazing! I didn't even blanch the almonds, and I didn't notice you needed a cheesecloth, so basically I just ground up some almonds and garlic in the food processor, and it was still magnificent. Definitely saving this Cosima Aug 16, 2009

Vegan Mayonnaise

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Dancer^

Hmm...I think I did something wrong, since everyone else seems to love this so much. Instead of mayonnaise, I just got a bunch of vegan salad dressing! It's tasty, but definitely won't work on a sandwich. — Cosima Jun 27, 2009

Vegan Lemon Cake

Posted by Smileyfroggy

This was absolutely delicious! I used flax vegan egg substitute, and I didn't have powdered sugar so I just used regular. I made it for my mom for when she came home from work, and she LOVED it! She wants the recipe now. I'm so glad there's a good... — Cosima Feb 10, 2009

Vegan Truffles

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Zeke Koch

These were delicious! They also made a ton of extra, even though I ate about half it just while making them! I didn't have bittersweet chocolate, so I used semisweet. I still didn't have enough chocolate, so I substituted the rest with cocoa... — Cosima Dec 7, 2008
