Heathier Banana Pumpkin Spice Bread

Posted by Chef LK

Fantastic. This recipe doubled nicely. I love that it is lower fat and has some fiber in it. I used whole wheat bread flour because it is stronger than regular, and the texture was light, but stayed together well. Thanks LK! — Coral_Jayne Oct 11, 2009

Chicken Tortilla Soup II

Posted by Eddie Shipman

Really good soup. I have made this recipe a few times and all I add is the juice of half a lime to balance the sweetness of the tomatoes. So good. — Coral_Jayne Jul 26, 2009

Lemon Granita

Posted by ChrisMc

This is a really nice recipe. I found it easier to pour the mix into a large Ziploc bag, then onto the baking sheet. I have too many kids going in and out of the freezer at this time of year to risk a spill. — Coral_Jayne Jul 5, 2009

Decked-Out Burgers

Posted by Just Cher

Great burgers! I used fresh mushrooms for the canned, low fat mayo and 2% mf cheese to cut down on calories and Maple Leaf Ready Crisp bacon bits to cut down on clean up. Thanks — Coral_Jayne Jun 20, 2009

Medallions of Beef Tenderloin With Cabernet Reduction

Posted by Doesn't Do Dishes

By far, the best tenderloin I have had in recent memory. I cooled the reduction before adding the butter. The butter did not split, and the reduction thickened nicely. Anniversary dinner quality. Thanks. — Coral_Jayne May 23, 2009

Fantastic recipe. I made it without the KB or caramel coloring as well and it was lovely. Served it with Montreal smoked meat sandwiches, yum. Thanks for posting Bill. — Coral_Jayne Apr 25, 2009

Wonderful Crock Pot Italian Tomato Sauce

Posted by Adam in Calgary

What a great recipe, Adam. I only had one can of tomatoes on hand so I skinned and chopped some fresh Roma tomatoes and some paste to compensate. Sunday dinner without the fuss. Thanks. — Coral_Jayne Mar 16, 2009

Island Chicken with Pineapple Salsa

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Dancer^

I made this last month sometime, and forgot to review it. Since then, I have made it two more times at the request (badgering/begging) of DD. The salsa is so good, we finish what is left with cinnamon tortillas. Awesome! — Coral_Jayne Mar 12, 2009

My Family's Favorite Sloppy Joes, or Pizza Joes

Posted by Hey Jude

These were quite good. The kids all liked them. I added some bell peppers, otherwise followed the recipe. I found it a bit sweet for my taste, next time I'll cut down on the sugar. Thanks — Coral_Jayne Feb 16, 2009
