Crunchy Noodle Salad *award Winning*

Posted by mama's kitchen

I remember my sister making this when I was growing up, so I'm glad I stumbled into it. It's simple, inexpensive, and yummy. I love the crunch of the ramen and almonds. I had to improvise with the dressing, cause I made it up before hand, and it... — KillerTasteBuds Sep 17, 2009

Fondue Broth

Posted by Midge Plourde

This was a nice flavorfull broth. We had a fondue supper with potatoes, meat, veggies, and crunchy bread. I think next time I'll decrease the amount of black pepper. — KillerTasteBuds Sep 17, 2009

Wonderful Salsa

Posted by Jazze22

Excellent! It's hard to find a good salsa out there. This has just the right zip for my taste. I did reduce the sugar. To make the chopping go faster, I used a food processor. That made it just the right consistancy. This will be my go to salsa... — KillerTasteBuds Sep 17, 2009

Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Pie

Posted by Noni Suzanne

I thought this was just okay. I brought it to a potluck, but we had to leave before the end, so I don't know how it was received. I probably won't make it again. Thanks for the idea. — KillerTasteBuds Sep 1, 2009

Homemade Blackberry Jam

Posted by MizzNezz

This jam is soo good. I've been looking for anything I can put it on! It set up to the perfect consistancy. For me it made 9 8oz jars. I will definately be making this again if I come upon blackberries again. I hope that's before I run out of this... — KillerTasteBuds Aug 31, 2009

Asian Chicken Salad Wraps

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Bev

I really enjoyed these. I've never used fish sauce before, and unfortunately I couldn't with this recipe either. (My local supermarkets were out). Instead I used soy sauce, and it turned out just fine. I've also never used fresh mint before, and... — KillerTasteBuds Aug 29, 2009

A Really Good Tomato Recipe

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Lainey6605

How can you go wrong with croutons, cheese and garden fresh tomatoes. Great side dish. Fast and easy. I too stuck mine in the oven just until the cheese melted. It's a great way to use up your tomatoes. I'll definately be making this again. — KillerTasteBuds Aug 29, 2009

Nice sauce, and easy to make. It tastes better than the pasta sauce I normally use. I'll be sure to use this again on the next pizza night! — KillerTasteBuds Aug 29, 2009

Brown Rice and Lentil Casserole

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by ladypit

I'm a little leary of cooking with lentils, but I decided to try this after it getting good reviews. Suprisingly I really liked it. I forgot to cover it, so my rice never really cooked, but besides the crunchy rice, it tasted good. I had it as a... — KillerTasteBuds Aug 26, 2009

Commander's Palace California Salad With Honey-Yogurt Dressing

Posted by PaulaG

I didn't enjoy this salad as much as I thought I was going to. I love all the ingredients, it just didn't come together very well. I probably won't attempt to make it again. — KillerTasteBuds Aug 2, 2009

Old Fashioned Root Beer Float Cake

Posted by Mysterygirl

I made this for a 4th of July party, and it was eaten up. I didn't think that it tasted like a root beer float, but it was good, and a nice change. I'd make this again, but maybe with a lighter frosting, as I'm not a fan of buttercream. — KillerTasteBuds Aug 2, 2009

Chicken Breasts with Spicy Honey Orange Glaze

Think came out great. I'm always looking for a new way to "spice" up chicken, and this is a good alternative. It grilled up nicely for a quick summer meal. — KillerTasteBuds Aug 2, 2009

This was really good. I couldn't stop eating it! It had a lot of flavor, and there were only a couple of ingredients I needed to buy. This would be a great summer salad with fresh tomatoes and basil from the garden. — KillerTasteBuds Jul 15, 2009

Best Ever Summer Strawberry Spinach Salad

I really liked this salad, but when I looked at the recipe it seemed like it needed something more than just lettuce and fruit. So when I made this for a main dish for dinner the other night, I used mandrin oranges, added slivered almonds, and... — KillerTasteBuds Jun 30, 2009

Raspberry Chicken Lettuce Wraps

I thought these turned out great. They are much different that I was expecting, but it turned out to be a nice light tasty summer meal. I was a little confused. All the reviews had it as a salad, but the recipe title had it as lettuce wraps, so I... — KillerTasteBuds Jun 30, 2009

Chinese Tuna Salad

Posted by Sarah Chana

This is a nice change to the plain old "tuna salad". I did make a couple of changes. I didn't add the lettuce or noodles in the salad. I knew I'd have leftovers even having halved the recipe, and I didn't want them to go soggy. I put the salad in... — KillerTasteBuds Jun 30, 2009

Ramen Noodle Casserole

Posted by Sandy in Texas

I thought this was okay. It was a nice easy recipe, and cheap, but I think there was too much water. Mine was still really watery after cooking. Maybe It'd try again with less water and see how it goes. — KillerTasteBuds Jun 22, 2009
