Fish Tacos

Great recipe. Exactly what I've been looking for instead of the same baked fish. Have made twice and will make again and again. You can use any fish you like. The sauce is amazing! — shells75 Jun 27, 2009

I made this with a pondersa lemon off of a plant a friend gave me and it was very tasty! I used butter for the shortening. I am going to make again this week. — shells75 Jan 27, 2007

Pistachio Cake

Posted by ~Leanne~

This was awesome. My husband loved it with cool whip which put it over the top. I though plain was perfect. I've seen almost the exact same recipe only using 1 cup of oil. I can't imagine using that much oil in this cake....it came out very... — shells75 Jan 27, 2007

The Lady's Cheese Biscuits & Garlic Butter - Paula Deen

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by GoKittenGo

These are so good and very easy to make. I got this recipe out of Paula Deen's cookbook. The only difference I see is that in the cookbook it calls for 1/3 C shortening. I didn't use the garlic butter but they were still delish. — shells75 Sep 6, 2005

I posted this recipe awhile back and just received notice that during a regular maintenance check my post was removed because it was a duplicate. This is my favorite snack mix. — shells75 Aug 6, 2005

Awesome Stuffed Mushrooms

(6 people found this helpful) Posted by tinala

These are excellent...just reading the recipe doesn't do them justice. I used fresh breadcrumbs, half the parmesan cheese (not sprinkling any on top), didn't drizzle any extra butter on top and didn't do the broiler thing at the end. I just put... — shells75 Jul 3, 2005

Ruth's Chris Steak House Creamed Spinach

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by yooper

Ohhh this is so good. I can'timagine using another recipe for creamed spinach again. I used the 10 oz packs of frozen chopped spinach and it came out great. Even used lower fat milk and I don't think you could tell the difference....if you like... — shells75 Jul 3, 2005

Thanks for posting. I won't have to look all over the place when I want to use it. I use this for Juniors Cheescake instead of their scant almost no crust recipe. — shells75 Mar 5, 2005

Taco Filled Pasta Shells

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Creativewaystosave

I saw this recipe in a taste of home magazine, but I think it was with regular cream cheese, it's been a while since I've made it, but I made it twice and it's great and does freeze well. — shells75 Feb 19, 2005

Make-Ahead Twice-Baked Potatoes

(7 people found this helpful) Posted by BeachGirl

The recipe gets 5 stars just for the make ahead part! These are such a snap to make and so much better than the icky store bought ones. I didn't have any cream cheese so just mixed with shredded chedder, butter and milk. I learned a new trick... — shells75 Feb 19, 2005

"Souper" Easy Sweet & Sour meatballs

(3 people found this helpful) Posted by Boies

I gave this 5 stars because it was so good, I do have a couple of comments, and one is it is all sweet and no sour. I might try half the sugar next time and see what happens, and I also wonder if you could cook them for one hour with the same... — shells75 Feb 19, 2005
