Wild Rice Casserole

Posted by WhimLiving

This was the ultimate comfort food. My son asked what was in it and before I could answer he said he didn't care it smelled too good. My son and I ate the whole casserole. This was so easy- thank you so much! — Camaro Chic Nov 4, 2009

Brownie Trifle

This was good and simple. The recipe did not specify a small or large pkg. of pudding mix. I figured based on the milk it called for that it was the samll pkg. I think next time I will make the large pkg. with the amount of milk it calls for.... — Camaro Chic Sep 8, 2009

Kittencal's Low-Fat Oven-Baked Zucchini Sticks

Posted by KITTENCAL

Cut mine into chips just because of the zucchini dynamics. Followed recipe to the tee except I had to sub. panko crumbs after finding I was out of bread crumbs. Served with marinara sauce and ate almost a whole 9x13 pan myself. I will make this... — Camaro Chic Aug 26, 2009

Portuguese Paella

Hate it when people change recipes but I had to make due with what I had. Used chicken breast cut in about 1 inch chunks and slightly cooked (no pink outside) during the initial browning. Followed recipe exactly but substituted about 1/2 bag of... — Camaro Chic Jul 10, 2009

Olive Garden Style Chicken and Gnocchi Soup

I have never tried the Olive Garden version of this soup. Made the recipe to the "T" though and thought it was good but not necessarily my fave. I feel like it is missing something I can't quite put my finger on. — Camaro Chic Jul 3, 2009

Rice Salad

Liked it for the most part but did not like the cold oily residue(used canola) on the rice. All in all the flavor was good though. This is a recipe worth playing with. Thanks! — Camaro Chic Jul 3, 2009

Paula Deen's Corn Salad

This was a really good, quick recipe. Used it for the last minute BBQ. I want something more though. I am thinking 1 can chopped green chilies instead of green pepper or even an addition of black beans. Family was 50/50 on this but I liked it and... — Camaro Chic May 5, 2009

Coconut Rice

Very rich and yummy. I think I will use low fat coconut milk next time or 1/2 chix broth. Had to use ginger powder-no fresh available. Really was good though. Loved the cilantro. Served with a newly created Pineapple Chicken that I will work on... — Camaro Chic Apr 26, 2009
