Mean Guy's General Tso's Chicken

Posted by Kirstin in the Couv

i didn't particularly like the twice-fried aspect of this. and the cornstarch mixture didn't stick well. but the flavor was excellent. — Odd Job Feb 26, 2009

Chinese Peanut Sauce

now that i have this recipe, i have no idea what i would do without it. i use it for homemade hot pot, as a dressing for noodles, and i'm half tempted to just drink it. and i use LOTS of cilantro. — Odd Job Feb 26, 2009

Grilled Falafel

yum! i wasn't exact with the measurements — i just kinda eyeballed it and added a little extra garlic and cilantro (i'm a garlic fiend!) and it was fantastic. — Odd Job Feb 16, 2009

Golden Couscous

Posted by KITTENCAL

really nice! i reduced the couscous and broth by one-third, but left all other measurements the same. i didn't wind up using any pepper-- it tasted fine without. i also didn't have any currants on hand, so i just did without. it was still great. — Odd Job Jun 22, 2008

Baba Ghanoush - the Best in the World!

Posted by Mimi Bobeck

1/4 cup tahini is way too much. use about a teaspoon, then add according to taste. i didn't use a grill, just an oven and it turned out great. — Odd Job Jan 19, 2008
