This stew was delicious.I left out the pepper and thickened it slightly with a little flour. Next time I make it I would try a 1/4 teaspoon pepper. I served it with yellow rice and irish soda bread. — agnes m. Apr 14, 2003

I don't really care for eggs but This was delicous. Only substitutions I made were eggbeaters and frozen hash browns for the potatoes. I imagine the egg beaters would drop the chol.count Easy to make just have all your "ducks" in a row when you... — agnes m. Feb 20, 2003

a great recipe the only addition I made was a 1/4 cuo chopped walnuts and I used a Pillsbury crust .Next time I would use Phyllo, I left out salt and it was salty enough. — agnes m. Feb 14, 2003
