Chicken Soup and Homemade Noodles

Posted by Skmarrama

We love this recipe. Total comfort food. This is nice to make when you have time to let your chicken cool before removing the meat. I also add about 1/2 cup of frozen corn to the soup which adds a great sweetness. — Beth F. Oct 31, 2009

Hot Fudge Sauce--Out of This World!

Posted by Mimi in Maine

This is a very good recipe for fudge sauce. I love that it uses all ingredients that we have in our pantry. I feel the recipe should say that you need to bring the sauce to a boil in order to thickin the sauce properly. I did and the sauce was... — Beth F. Sep 16, 2009

Coffee Cake-Over Night

Posted by Michelle Bakel

I have to say this recipe is a good idea for a coffee cake, but there is far too much sugar topping listed in the recipee. Other reviewers wrote about using less, there should just be less in the recipe for a good review. — Beth F. Sep 16, 2009

My Grandmother's Fresh Peach Cobbler

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Elmolvsu

This really tasted fabulous and my entire family liked it. I added 1/4 tsp each of cinnamon and ginger to the final sugar as per other reviews. I think it needed to cook longer. It wasn't at all cakey. After 30 mins it came out gooey and... — Beth F. Aug 19, 2009

Rhubarb Crisp

I thought this crisp either had not enough fruit or way too much goo. It would taste great with less goo or more fruit. — Beth F. Jul 6, 2009

Poverty Meal

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Malriah

I like the idea of this recipe, but it is very bland as is. You need to season the meat while it is cooking and decide how to spice it up. On the plus side it makes a huge hot meal, but not too tasty. — Beth F. Jun 11, 2009

1-Hour Ham and Bean Soup

Posted by Kelly M.

This was the best ham and bean soup I've ever made. I added some sage because my mom always put sage in hers. I have never put garlic in ham and bean soup before and it made all the difference. — Beth F. Apr 28, 2009

Perfect Chocolate Brownies

Posted by Virginia

This is a great recipe. I like that it calls for shortening and cocoa powder rather than chocolate squares. I ran out of recular cocoa and used aboaut one third dark chocolate cocoa powder. These were very good. — Beth F. Apr 26, 2009
