Simple Glazed Pearl Onions

Posted by *Parsley*

Everyone loved them. Next time I'll use the fresh onions, (only for a little more flavour) Great recipe. Dinner wasn't even finished and they were asking when I was going to make them again. — Kathleen Nelson Jan 12, 2006

BBQ Pork Shoulder

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by Delish

This recipe took a very long time. The rub was good 3 0f 3 rated it 5. The basting sauce was good again a 5. The sauce was way to hot, that got a 3. It had very good flavour (although painstakingly aquired). — Kathleen Nelson Jan 12, 2006

Cinnamon Raisin Bread

(3 people found this helpful) Posted by Tonkcats

Excellent flavour, temperature is too high, needs to be cooked longer at a lower temperature, I added some cinnamon to the actual bread mix instead of just on the outside. Whole house loved it. Thank you. — Kathleen Nelson Mar 20, 2002

Mom's Date Squares

Posted by Cheryl E

Personally I'm not a date fan but my sister is, she asked for date squares. This recipe was the closest one I could find to my grandmothers. The only thing my sister said was wrong with the recipe was that it needed more dates. Other than that... — Kathleen Nelson Mar 2, 2002

I''m not a fan of sundried tomatoes, but this recipe was good, I added roasted garlic to spruce up the flavor a little. I also reduced the amount of lemon juice. otherwise a very good recipe. thank you for posting it. — Kathleen Nelson Dec 31, 2001
