Black Bean Brownies

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Chef #1138673

I used 3/4 cane sugar instead of Splenda. Splenda has the GROSSEST aftertaste. The bean texture was apparent while warm. I almost threw out the whole pan but popped them in the fridge. Chilled, I LOVE THEM! If you weren't a fan, try them... — Kirste Aug 19, 2009

Monster Cookies

ABSOLUTELY the best! I doubled the amount of M&Ms, used rolled oats (not quick), and substituted beet syrup for the Karo. I dropped the cookie dough in really loose gobbs with great results. Thanks for posting this recipe. — Kirste Jun 12, 2007

This was a HUGE hit with kids & adults alike last weekend. I made a 10x14 pan and came home with a clean pan... One kid described it as "heaven on a paper plate"... enough said! Thank you. — Kirste Jun 10, 2007

Ranger Cookies

I suggest 1 cup of Crisco instead of 1 cup of butter. Also, I usually get 3 dozen cookies out of this recipe. Be sure not to squish the dough into a ball; you want the balls to almost fall apart prior to baking. — Kirste Jun 1, 2007

I left out the heavy cream after reading the earlier review. I cut the Splenda down to about a tablespoon. I thought I\\\'d add more after tasting the sauce but didn\\\'t. I did add crushed red pepper flakes and dijon mustard. This is... — Kirste Aug 10, 2004

Radler--wonderful German Beer/lemonade Concoction

Posted by kansasjosh

I saw this Friday and decided to try it after work. I neglected to read the directions clearly, I mixed the lemonade concentrate to my beer. I thought 1:1 might be a bit much so I used much less. It was really good. BUT I will try it again... — Kirste Jun 7, 2004
