Bountiful Brunch Pizza

I didn't have green onion, only red. I did pre-cook the onion and red pepper before adding it, and left out the mushrooms. — Cullinaryjudge Mar 29, 2003

Cinnamon Sunrise (Bread Machine)

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Bev

You've made my day. This bread is super good. Sampled some fresh, will make the rest into French toast for tomorrow's breakfast. I didn't have pecans, so substituted walnuts instead. — Cullinaryjudge Mar 28, 2003

Dorothy's Best Ever Pastry

Posted by DotM

An easy to make pie pastry, that if handled properly has little shrinkage. I would recommend this flaky pastry to others. — Cullinaryjudge Mar 25, 2003

Aunt Cecil's Goulash

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Gigi

I needed a fast meal last night, and this was perfect. It is not only easy to prepare, but really tasty. Our ground beef is packaged in 2 pound packages, and I added pepper and garlic powder to taste, were my only changes. — Cullinaryjudge Mar 21, 2003

Garlic-Parsley Bread for Bread Machine

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Geema

Served this last night, along with pasta. This recipe is a keeper, good taste and texture, as well as the added health benefits of wheat germ and bran. I didn't have fresh parsley, so I used 1 tsp. of dried. — Cullinaryjudge Mar 19, 2003

Olive Garden Garlic Alfredo Sauce

(5 people found this helpful) Posted by DiB's

Next time, I would add more cream cheese, as the sauce was a little too thin. Otherwise, very good and easy to make. Added grilled chicken strips to the pasta, then slathered on this yummy sauce. — Cullinaryjudge Mar 19, 2003

Chinese Rice Salad

Similar to what I make, except without the chow mein noodles, and using only 2 cups of cooked rice. — Cullinaryjudge Mar 17, 2003

Easy Fried Rice

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by Tracy K

I used leftover pork roast, onions, celery, and red pepper, mushrooms would have been nice, but I have two kids that would disagree. The combination of the oyster sauce and soy sauce, gives a distinctive flavor. I also used sesame oil in a... — Cullinaryjudge Mar 17, 2003

Best Cream of Broccoli Soup

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Barb Gertz

A flvourful recipe! I didn't have 2 cans of chicken broth, so I substituted it with 1 can of half-fat cream of chicken soup. I also cut back on the butter, by simmering the onion, garlic, and celery in a little bit of the broth. Serve it with some... — Cullinaryjudge Mar 12, 2003

Our family enhoyed this dish. I did cut back on the butter though. Two tablespoons of butter, I thought was plenty. — Cullinaryjudge Feb 6, 2003

I didn't have the liquid smoke, as the recipe requests, but it still turned out great. I did cut back on the spices also. — Cullinaryjudge Jan 29, 2003

Parmesan Pork Chops

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Linda Lu

These chops are good. Although I used my own judgement with the pepper. I only used 1/2 tsp. even though I really like pepper. I also cut back on the parmesan cheese to 1/2 cup. I used 8 centre-cut loin pork chops and found that the amount of... — Cullinaryjudge Jan 28, 2003

Fluffy Buckwheat Pancakes

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by Manuela

I have never eaten or made buckwheat pancakes, until I tried this recipe. I am not a big pancake lover, but I did prefer these over ones made with all-purpose flour. To me they have somewhat of a poppy seed flavour. — Cullinaryjudge Jan 27, 2003

Euphoric Potatoes

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Mirj

I sampled this dish before serving. The mixture was dry, and lacks flavour. I made a half recipe of cheese sauce, add added it before serving. I would not make these again. — Cullinaryjudge Jan 20, 2003
