Cheesy Turkey Burger

Posted by PdxBarb

Regrettably, the recipe came out to an odd number and my kids fought over the last one! I had to use barbecue sauce, out of Worchestershire sauce. This is the best turkey recipe I ever had outside of thanksgiving (or Ren. Faire!) — Circuit7 Z Aug 28, 2009

Oh yeah! Definitely add a little more garlic. These were great. A shake or three of grated Parmesan cheese is good too. — Circuit7 Z Jan 9, 2009

Salmon Chowder

Posted by Gigi

Wow! This makes in a dash and my kids - from five to nineteen - absolutely loved it. I left out the cheese, subbed low-sodium soy sauce, and added a teaspoon of red pepper flakes. Also, the recipe didn't specify so I didn't drain the can of salmon. — Circuit7 Z Nov 8, 2008

Southern Buttermilk Biscuits

Posted by P4

Mine didn't rise, but I'm guessing that it had something to do with the weather here today, humid and hot in Chicago, so I go with just the taste. Better double the batch if you have kids. They tasted great! — Circuit7 Z Jul 19, 2008

Interesting Crock Pot Chicken

Posted by Manda

A very versatile, easy-to-modify meal. We served it over noodles and since I only had 3 thigh quarters in the freezer, I added about 8oz of sliced kielbasa. I didn't have the ranch dressing mix, either, so I subbed a cup of ranch dressing. Great... — Circuit7 Z May 3, 2008

Lancaster County, AMISH cornmeal mush

Yum! Ours never made it to the frying pan either. Raisins and maple syrup made my kids beg for seconds, and my teenager added cheese and a scrambled egg to hers. — Circuit7 Z Feb 12, 2005

Pepsi Pork Roast

Posted by Mysterygirl

Slam dunk! I also used the whole can of Pepsi and the whole packet of onion soup mix and I had to make mashed potatoes again the next day for the leftover gravy. Perfect for a crisp autumn evening! — Circuit7 Z Sep 30, 2004

Macaroni 3 Cheese

Posted by Evie*

Fantastic! The kids were trying to sneak into the kitchen the last five or six minutes it was baking! I added a quarter-cup of bacon bits, too but it was rather salty - next time I'm going to use cubed ham. — Circuit7 Z Mar 26, 2004
