My Mama Iuliucci's "Don't Skip a Step" Spaghetti Sauce

Posted by Karen=^..^=

I made this for supper today and it was very good. The only changes I made was didn't have any fresh garlic so I used extra garlic powder, and I didn't have parsley so added one teaspoon of dried basil. I browned two pork chops and italian... — Diana A Oct 16, 2009

Puerto Rican Rice And Beans (Arroz Con Habichuelas)

Posted by Tish

I read this recipe but did not even try it. I have been married to a puerto rican for more than 35 years and have been to Puerto Rico many, many times and have never seen rice and beans prepared in any way even close to this.... — Diana A Sep 2, 2009

Peach Cobbler

Posted by Suellen Anderson

Waaaay too sweet. That amount of sugar might be ok with fresh peaches, but not wth canned in syrup. I agree with the others that it needs more peaches also. I might try it again but with two cans of peaches and cutting back the sugar in the batter... — Diana A Dec 7, 2008

Cherry Loaf Bread

Posted by Luvin' Texas

This was good. Very moist, however not very Cherry flavored as I had expected. Took 20 minutes longer to bake. I think I might try it again next time ommitting the cinnamon as it may overpower the cherry flavor and also substitute almond... — Diana A Apr 1, 2007

Kittencal's Chicken Crescent Roll Casserole

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by KITTENCAL

I made this yesterday and it was okay. I guess I was expecting more because of all the high reviews. I think I could have just made some creamed chicken and added cheese to the sauce and served over bisquits for about the same result.... — Diana A Nov 19, 2004

Haluski

Posted by Lorealle

Our family loves this also. However I eliminate one of the pans by frying the diced bacon in a large pan or dutch oven. When the bacon is done I simply add the chopped cabbage to that same pot and cook with a lid till done, stirring... — Diana A Nov 5, 2004

Blueberry Pie

(3 people found this helpful) Posted by Bev

I followed this recipe to the letter. However it came out way too juicy and runny. I think I will try it again and increase the bake temp to 425 degrees and the time an extra 10 minutes. The taste was excellent though. — Diana A Jul 15, 2003
