Pizza Dough (With No Yeast)

Posted by _Ally_

I didn't have time to make a dough using yeast so decided to give this a try & i'm so glad i did! It was very quick & easy & i was quite impressed with how similar to a 'yeast' dough it turned out. Will definitely be making this again. — *Marli* Jul 18, 2009

These are the best muffins I have ever made! I substituted the butter with oil & they came out perfect. Very easy recipe to make.....will be leaving my bananas to sit longer in the fruitbowl from now on so I can make these often! — *Marli* Dec 12, 2007

Japanese Mum's Chicken

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by JustJanS

This was so quick & simple to make, great if you're in a hurry or want something uncomplicated. I used chicken wingettes & served them with rice. I also thickened the sauce with a little cornflour before pouring over the rice. — *Marli* Oct 13, 2003

Cheesy Layered Ground Beef and Pasta Casserole

(4 people found this helpful) Posted by KITTENCAL

A very tasty casserole, that was simple to put together. The mozzerella cheese made it very stringy, so next time I will substitute half mozzerella/half cheddar cheese. — *Marli* Sep 19, 2003

Southern Buttermilk Biscuits

(3 people found this helpful) Posted by P4

These are the best scones (as we call them in Australia) I have ever had! They were light, fluffy & very buttery. If I could give this recipe more than 5* I would! If you too want the best scones (biscuits) you've ever had - don't change a thing. — *Marli* Sep 2, 2003

Swiss Poppy Seed Bread

Mamie, this was fantastic! A great change to the usual garlic/herb bread, we had this with a pasta dish. Also ideal to snack on. — *Marli* Sep 1, 2003

Hamburger Stroganoff, Turkey, Venison or Beef

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by WJKing

This was quick & easy to make, however I felt the sour cream overpowered the whole dish, if I was to make this again I'd only add about 2 tablespoons of sour cream. I also added fresh sliced mushrooms. — *Marli* Aug 25, 2003

Cracker Barrel's Hash Browns Casserole - Copycat

Posted by Rhonda

This makes a nice change from the usual scalloped potatoes we always have, I omitted the butter, because I felt there would be enough fat already & I sprinkled the top with sweet paprika & chopped green onions. Will have this again. — *Marli* Aug 24, 2003

This was so quick & easy to make - a very traditional tasting hummus. Next time I would halve the recipe as it makes quite A LOT! — *Marli* Aug 21, 2003

Foil Packet Grilled Potatoes

A great recipe for the BBQ, I also used red potatoes with the skin on & steamed lightly first as I was in a hurry. You could vary this recipe everytime by using different flavour dressings. — *Marli* Aug 11, 2003

Easy Slow Cooker Chicken Dinner

This would have to be the best thing I have made in my crockpot so far & the easiest roast I have probably ever cooked! I browned the chicken in the oven for 1/2 hour before serving & made a delicious gravy with the juices. Will be definetly be... — *Marli* Aug 11, 2003

Almond Rice Pudding with Dried Cherries

(3 people found this helpful) Posted by spatchcock

Just finished this & it was so yum! I needed a recipe for dried cherries & I had some leftover cooked rice in the fridge, however I didn't have any almond essence, so I substituted vanilla essence. Before cooking I sprinkled with slivered almonds... — *Marli* Aug 9, 2003

Mmmmmmm, just had these for dinner & they were delicious! I used turkey mince instead of chicken mince (only because I had never had turkey mince before)& they turned out perfect, served with my pasta sauce (#66750). Will definetely have these again! — *Marli* Aug 7, 2003

BisQuickie Cinnamon Rolls

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by Karen=^..^=

A very easy recipe, so quick to put together. I used half brown sugar and half white sugar for the cinnamon mixture. I thought they were best served warm - the only problem now is that I have to get hold of more Bisquick in Australia! — *Marli* Aug 7, 2003

Thankyou for posting this recipe Cornelia. I made this bread in my breadmaker, using all the same ingredients. It had a definite pumpkin taste, but was a tad too sweet. — *Marli* Aug 3, 2003
