Easy Baked Potato Wedges

Posted by Dana-MMH

Delicious!! I used 1/2 red potatoes and 1/2 sweet potatoes for a wonderful flavor mix. My wedges weren't as crispy as I would have liked, so I think next time I'll crank the oven up to 450 for the last 15 minutes or so. Thanks!! — Joey L. Mar 7, 2009

Garlicky Tortellini, Spinach and Tomato Soup

Posted by Mirj

Sooooo tasty and delicious, and it was enough for two meals. I used frozen spinach, homemade veggie broth, and dried basil. Served with warm crusty bread (perfect to sop up the soup with!) and salad. Thanks for such a great recipe, perfect for... — Joey L. Jan 14, 2009

Yummy Crunchy Caramel Apple Pie

Posted by Wendy W88

Wow! This pie is the BEST! We made two, so we'd have one to freeze, but the second never made it into the freezer (they were THAT good). We used golden delicious apples and they were sooooo tasty. The crunchy, crumbly topping is the best! I will... — Joey L. Oct 25, 2008

Italian Crock Pot Roast

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by chef blade

This turned out delicious!! The gravy was so tasty and the meat just fell apart. We slow cooked it on low for 8 hours, and since I don't like mushy veggies, I added potatoes, carrots, and mushrooms after 4 hours (after first sauteeing them in a... — Joey L. Sep 8, 2008

Zucchini Salsa, Canned

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by Bergy

Soooo delicious! I convinced my mom to try it (she NEVER eats salsa, doesn't like it), and after much resisting, she was flabbergasted- even she couldn't resist it! It's a tangy, refreshing salsa that goes well with anything. I'll be canning my... — Joey L. Aug 26, 2008

Italian Inn Spaghetti With Anchovies

Posted by TxGriffLover

This is delicious!! The anchovies give the sauce a wonderful nutty, salty flavor. My husband said it was his all-time favorite spaghetti!! Next time I will not add any salt to the sauce, as the anchovies are quite salty and didn't really need any... — Joey L. Aug 5, 2008

Curried Chickpeas & Kale

Posted by Dancer^

Delicious! I cooked it the way Circumspice did, only I drizled lime juice over the dish right before eating, and it came out perfect. I think maybe next time I might even throw in a hot pepper to give it a little "bite". Thanks Dancer! — Joey L. Jul 28, 2008

Grilled Sirloin Steak

Posted by Graybert

I loved this marinade! It was so good on our steaks that I decided to try it on our pork steaks another night, and it was just as fabulous. Great combination of flavors. I actually used terriyaki instead of soy and vinegar, since that is basically... — Joey L. Jul 25, 2008

Rhubarb Coffee Cake

This was soooo delicious!!! It is the first time I have ever had rhubarb and I am hooked! We prepared it exactly as described, and it looks just like the photo. I could have eaten the entire thing myself... I hope I can still get rhubarb at the... — Joey L. Jun 14, 2008

Indian Chicken With Vegetables (Murgh Subji Wala)

Posted by Sue L

This was so fabulous! I substituted zucchini in, since I had no bell peppers, and added about 1/8 cup of boiling water when the chicken was re-added to the pan to keep it from sticking. Will definitely make again! — Joey L. Jan 17, 2008

Feta and Mint Lamb Burgers (Pan Fry or BBQ)

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Bergy

I substituted ground beef for ground lamb, and it was still fabulous. My husband thought this was the best burger he's EVER had, and that's saying a lot, since burgers are his favorite food. We had them with feta, sliced tomato, and sliced onions,... — Joey L. Nov 30, 2007

Crock Pot Chicken, Gravy and Stuffing

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by Anne Edgell

This is such a fabulous comfort food dish! I followed the stuffing directions on the box, sauteeing onions and celery in the butter, and then mixing the broth, veggies, and stuffing, which made it taste so delicious. We also used Havarti cheese... — Joey L. Oct 28, 2007
