Razberi Bars

Posted by ThatJodiGirl

Good concept, but waaaaaay too sweet. I halved the white chocolate and it was still too sweet. Next time I think I'll cut the white chocolate down to 2/3 cup and put it in the butter only. Then I'll probably cut the sugar down to 2/3 cup as... — Chef #594577 Nov 16, 2009

Spinach Artichoke Lasagna

Posted by ~Rita~

This is a pretty good recipe. Don't forget to add salt to it. The flavors are pretty nice...you definitely need to double the cheese though (extra cottage and mozzarella or some other form of white cheese). — Chef #594577 Nov 24, 2008

Roasted Eggplant (Aubergine) Soup

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Dave

Nice soup, good texture. I thought it was better blending the skin with the rest of it. If you roast it long enough, and season it well enough it won't taste bitter as a result. — Chef #594577 Nov 23, 2008

Pineapple-Black Bean Enchiladas

Posted by mrib

Nice blend of flavors. We really enjoyed it. I followed the advice of some other reviewers and let the flavors blend a bit. I used a recipe for enchilada sauce from this site, and it was great. — Chef #594577 Nov 12, 2008

The Best Chili You Will Ever Taste

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by AmandaAOates

Great recipe. I used all ground beef as that was what I had. If you substitute chili powder for chili sauce, watch out! I can handle spice, but it gets really spicy! I recommend cutting it down to 1 1/2 T chili powder (if subbing for sauce)... — Chef #594577 Nov 9, 2008

Persian Lentil Rice - Addes Pilaf

Posted by rainna

This was a lovely meal. I increased it to 3 large onions. I think this might hold up better with brown lentils as opposed to red lentils, but the brown lentils would need to cook longer. I just think they would hold their shape and be less... — Chef #594577 Oct 29, 2008

Kittencal's Ground Beef Fried Rice

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by KITTENCAL

This was a nice break from chicken fried rice, but I thought the recipe was a bit bland. I ended up adding a lot of cajun seasoning to give it flavor. But overall, it was a nice recipe. — Chef #594577 Sep 20, 2008

Pad Thai with Chicken and Shrimp

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Just Call Me Martha

Good recipe, but it doesn't match the pad thai I've had. I added shredded carrots and doubled the sauce. It's a good basic recipe. — Chef #594577 Aug 24, 2008

Cranberry, Feta and Walnut Salad

Posted by Graybert

Yummy salad, definitely double the salad, add some red onion and some extra veggies, but only increase the dressing by half. The dressing is great, but it would be way too much if doubled. — Chef #594577 Aug 21, 2008
