Strawberry Rhubarb Muffins

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Michelle S.

Really good, moist and flavorful. I added 2 tablespoons of Ground flax seeds, buttermilk instead of milk, and a hint of almond extract. I used frozen fruit too. It all came together nicely. Will definitely make again. — AmandaMcMom Jun 1, 2009

Crock Pot Waikiki Chicken

Posted by cookin'crane

I think this dish has potential. I only used half the requested amount of sugar and it was still way to sweet for my family. I think more veggies and less sugar would make this a very nice meal. — AmandaMcMom Apr 3, 2009

S'more Thumbprint Cookies

AMAZING! Everyone that had one was practically drooling over how good these were. I made a small mistake, I only made 24 cookies because I used a tablespoon to form the dough. But it worked out great they were big and chewy and delicious. I will... — AmandaMcMom Feb 9, 2009

Kittencal's Juicy Blue Cheese Hamburgers/Burgers

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by KITTENCAL

Really really good! I didn't add the butter in the middle and probably about half the blue cheese. Still it was decadent and juicy and would definitely make this again. I ended up with about 10 HUGE burgers so your 6 burgers must have been... — AmandaMcMom Jan 16, 2009

Whole Chicken Crock Pot Recipe

Posted by *Kathy*

was simple and a real time saver. But I didn't like how the chicken just tasted steamed or boiled. I cooked 2 chickens and used the second to make a huge bowl of chicken salad. — AmandaMcMom Dec 28, 2008

Mexican Two Bean Chicken Chili

Posted by KelBel

Really Yummy! I shredded the Zucchini, and added an onion, didnt add chili powder because I used hot salsa. I cooked it in my crock pot for that all day simmer, it was very watery, so I added some Corn meal and it was perfect! Great recipe! — AmandaMcMom Dec 3, 2008

Cabbage Roll Casserole Crock Pot

Really Yummy. I liked that there was more than just cabbage and beef and tomatoes in it, my 5 yr old and 20 month old both gobbled it up. I think I might add more Cabbage next time — AmandaMcMom Nov 18, 2008

Mashed Yams

Posted by Suedocbug

I don't usually sweeten my yams with sugar or cinnamon because I do like the flavor of a yam but I thought I would try something different and it was really nice, not too sweet just enough. Unfortunately, my family didn't like Yams at all so I had... — AmandaMcMom Oct 17, 2008

This was yummy, I didnt get how there would be enough liquid to cook it though, so I added some broth. I also added some sliced hot dogs at the end seemed like it would go with BBQ sauce and Beans and it was super yummy, I would make it again. — AmandaMcMom Oct 11, 2008
