Zimtsterne (Cinnamon Star Cookies)

Posted by LUv 2 BaKE

I loved these cookies! They had the perfect amound of spice, nice and chewy, and simple to make. I couldnt find my cookie cutters so I just cut them into squares and made them that way and it yielded about 19 cookies but they were rather large. — Chef Dame Feb 21, 2008

Potato Apricot Dumplings

Posted by Kumquat the Cat's friend

They were alright. The dough really overpowered the apritcots and they had a powerful potato taste that i didnt expect. Next time I will cut down on the potatos and add peaches instead, but they were easy to make and not too bad — Chef Dame Feb 21, 2008

Bavarian Apple Torte

Posted by Divaconviva

So easy to make and wonderful. I didnt use the almonds or almond extract so I just used extra vanilla because I didnt have any at the time, but it still turned out fine, and I only needed one apple. It had a nice smooth texture which I found great. — Chef Dame Feb 3, 2008

Cranberry Orange Scones

Posted by Sue L

Like most others, mine was more of a batter rather than a dough and I had to spoon it onto the pan and make a long loaf. They have great potential and the glace is wonderful, just next time I will add more flour and hopefully it will turn out... — Chef Dame Jan 18, 2008

Easy Egg Noodles

Posted by RoseofSharon

We LOVE this dish! We have it every tuesday! It is so simple, yet so delicious, and goes with so many things. I dont really like bacon so instead we just added maple syrup to give it that flavor and left out the onion because my daughter hates it. — Chef Dame Jan 17, 2008
