Dark Chocolate Cake

Posted by Marg (CaymanDesigns)

Full 5 stars of ease of preparation and taste. I did use coffee rather than water and since I only had heavy cream, I used that instead of plain milk. Very good and moist! Will make again and again I'm sure. Love the dark chocolate taste! — LoriLee in TX Nov 8, 2009

Country Vanilla Ice Cream

Posted by Bev

Very good and very easy. We used half and half instead of whipping cream and it was still good. This is very similar to the recipe my mom still uses. No one ever got sick from her ice cream despite the raw eggs. In fact we are all a little too... — LoriLee in TX Jul 8, 2009

Grandma's Sourdough Biscuits

Very good and very easy! I was just experimenting and wasn't really fixing these for a meal, but they were so good that I had to make up a pan of gravy to go with them. Granddaughter loved them! — LoriLee in TX May 24, 2009

Pancakes

Excellent! This is my favorite pancake recipe. I've used one like it for years. The only difference in my recipe--and I made the adjustment--is a bit more milk. My family likes thinner pancakes so I add a scan cup of milk. — LoriLee in TX Feb 8, 2009

I give these 5 stars. Very easy, very fast, and very good. The one and only doughnut shop in my little town just lost a customer. These are so easy and fast that I could make them in the morning before work! A keeper. And I think it would be... — LoriLee in TX Jan 31, 2009

Low-Carb Cheesecake

For those long term hard core low carbers of us this is a perfect treat! I just made it and love it. I did cook it in a water bath which I think helps it have a better texture. Also for those who aren't used to cooking with cream cheese make sure... — LoriLee in TX Jan 29, 2009

I've used this same recipe for years and it's the best. It's so easy and quick. I layer the dry ingredients in a quart canning jar and give it as a gift with a decorated lid and the recipe attached. If you like really chewy, fudgy brownies,... — LoriLee in TX Jan 14, 2008

A great chocolatey cake! My first cake to ever bake. Still a favorite. Easy to prepare, no special ingredients, and so little mess. Who can beat that? I always use Miracle Whip. — LoriLee in TX Jan 3, 2008

The second cake I ever made was a version of this cake. I didn't use self-rising flour. It' nice and easy. Great served frosted--chocolate works well--or with strawberries and whipped cream. — LoriLee in TX Jan 3, 2008
