A Simple Chicken Satay

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by Gerry sans Sanddunes

This was really yummy! I only had time to marinate the chicken for about 1/2 hour. I baked the chicken in the marinade, but I kept it covered so the sauce wouldn't burn to my pan. It was served over rice for a great meal. — Lubie Jul 21, 2003

What's up Doc Cake

Posted by J e l i s a

I made this for my husband 'cause carrot cake is his favorite dessert. It turned out very tasty, but I took the advice of another reviewer and tested it at 35 minutes...well, the toothpick came out clean, so I assumed it was done. Turned out... — Lubie Jun 9, 2003

Yum!! This was absolutely scrumptious! It was very different from my french toast recipe, but it turned out wonderful. It's definitely a keeper. — Lubie Jun 9, 2003

Crock Pot Garlic Brown Sugar Chicken

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by Mirj

This recipe was absolutely delicious! We loved how the flavors mixed together. I didn't have time to make it in a crockpot, so I cooked it at 350 degrees F for about 30 minutes. It turned out wonderful. Thanks for a new favorite! — Lubie Jun 3, 2003

Pork Tenderloin - Thai-Style

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Just Call Me Martha

We really enjoyed this meal! It had a very distinct flavor that I loved! My husband thought it was a bit too salty, so I may cut back on the fish sauce and soy sauce next time. Thanks for a great meal! — Lubie May 22, 2003

Garlic Mashed Potatoes

(7 people found this helpful) Posted by Calla Lily

Yum! These were great! I made them with red potatoes and 4 cloves of garlic for extra flavor! I also put the sour cream in the microwave on 50% power for about 20 seconds to heat it up a bit so that it wouldn't cool down the potatoes too much.... — Lubie Apr 28, 2003

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Posted by RecipeNut

Wow! This was excellent pasta. I ommitted the mushrooms (because we don't really like them) and the bell peppers (because we didn't have any). I also added more cajun and some crushed red pepper, because we like things really spicy. My husband,... — Lubie Apr 24, 2003

Penne Arrabiatta

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Mirj

I thought this was pretty good, but it was a bit too "oniony" (if that is even a word!!) for my taste. I think I will add a lot less onion next time! I really liked how spicy it was though! — Lubie Apr 15, 2003

Easy Snickers Bar Pie

(18 people found this helpful) Posted by Mysterygirl

WOW!!! I thought this dessert was absolutely scrumptious. The taste was very rich. I took one of them to my company party and kept one for home. It looked a little plain once I got it in the pie crust, so I decided to cut up an extra snickers bar... — Lubie Apr 14, 2003

Pasta with Asparagus

This was fabulous. We love spicy dishes, and this one definitely made our taste buds smile (and burn!) We added some cooked pieces of chicken to the sauce before we tossed it with the pasta. I would recommend putting the parmesan cheese in... — Lubie Apr 11, 2003

No Challenge Creamy Chops

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Recipewrestler

Loved this recipe. The best part was how easy they were. I had dinner in the oven in 5 minutes from the time I started. I didn't have any cream of mushroom soup, so I opted for cream of chicken, which turned out great. I also used the Italian... — Lubie Apr 8, 2003

Overnight French Toast Casserole

Posted by Leta

I don't feel like I can really rate this one because it turned out awful. It may be by my own mistake, but when this came out of the oven, it was very mushy. Make sure you don't use too many eggs, and make sure it is well cooked before it comes... — Lubie Feb 19, 2003

7-Layer Bars

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by William Hakala
