Crumb-Topped Apple & Pumpkin Pie

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Colorado Lauralee

This was good and definitely something new for my family, combining pumpkin and apple pie all in one. It was good! Served it with some cool whip. I did double the nuts in the topping. Thanks for sharing! Made for My 3 Chefs Fall '09 event. — KeeperAtHome Nov 16, 2009

Apple Meatloaf

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by Oolala

This was very good, my family enjoyed it. It was a very different type of meatloaf and we enjoyed the change. I think I would probably double the topping next time, I like a little more sauce with mine. Thanks for sharing! Made for My 3 Chefs... — KeeperAtHome Nov 13, 2009

Pumpkin Coffee Cake

Posted by carol murray

I made this for a church brunch and it was well received. I used the full amounts of sugar in this recipe and did not think it was too sweet at all. I did however, replace the white sugar in the topping with brown sugar. — KeeperAtHome Nov 8, 2009

Apple Mystery

Posted by yamma

This was very yummy! It reminded us of "dump cake" recipes. My kids are wanting me to make it again already. Next time though, I am going to try to reduce the sugar and see how it turns out. I used Granny Smith apples. Thanks for sharing... — KeeperAtHome Nov 2, 2009

Halloween Mummy Dogs or is That Mommy Babies???

Posted by Linda's Busy Kitchen

These are very good and fun to make. I used crescent roll dough, sliced into thin strips and wrapped them around the mini-sausages in an effort to make them look more mummy-like =-) I did not use any of the optional ingredients and used mustard... — KeeperAtHome Nov 2, 2009

Linda's Tuna and Olive Sandwich (Sandwiches) or Finger Rolls

Posted by Linda's Busy Kitchen

I made this when a friend came over for lunch. She and I both loved it. So did my husband. We all like olives so no surprise there really. I had some leftover sweet onion from another recipe that I used. Delicious and so easy, thanks for... — KeeperAtHome Oct 5, 2009

These are very good and so easy. I add a drained can of Veg-All (mixed vegetables) to the filling. I also save some of the cheddar cheese to sprinkle on top. Thanks for sharing! — KeeperAtHome Aug 23, 2009

These are very delicious, I've been making them for years now as I found the recipe in a Taste of Home Cooking School magazine from 1996. — KeeperAtHome Aug 19, 2009

Hoisin Shrimp & Broccoli

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Shelby Jo

This was very yummy, I substituted chicken for the shrimp to make it more budget friendly. I would have liked a bit more sauce but I guess that's to be expected for a lower calorie recipe. Doubled this to feed my family of 6, thanks! — KeeperAtHome Aug 18, 2009

Greek Chicken Salad

This is delicious! I fudged the amounts a bit. I only bought one container of feta, so just made do, it was probably 1/2-3/4 cup. Thanks for sharing this, I will be making it again for sure! — KeeperAtHome Jul 22, 2009

This was good, but I felt like it had way too much dressing. Next time I will use less. Thanks for sharing! — KeeperAtHome Jul 20, 2009

Baked Turkey and Jack Cheese Chimichangas - Weight Watchers

Posted by Rhiannon Deux

These are very yummy! I used 2% milk cheddar cheese and omitted the green chiles. I'd like to try this again, and freeze the individual chimichangas for handy lunches. Thanks for sharing this, no one in my family would have guessed it was a WW... — KeeperAtHome Jun 8, 2009

Southwestern Chicken Pot Pie

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Chef #929374

This is pretty good. I think I used the wrong size can of biscuits as all my biscuits were touching and there was no room between for the cheese in the 8' square pan. Next time I may try an 11x7 pan since the biscuits were doughy on the bottom,... — KeeperAtHome May 23, 2009

Cranberry Almond Lettuce Salad

Posted by Chris from Kansas

This is a very yummy recipe! I started with 1/4 cup of sugar for the dressing, but I didn't think it was sweet enough, ended up using just under a 1/2 cup. The dressing has a strong flavor with the balsamic vinegar and a little goes a long way... — KeeperAtHome May 18, 2009
