Flaky Freezer Biscuits

Posted by Laura Bruce

This was a good biscuit recipe. I did need to add a bit more flour at the end to bring it all together. I would consider the texture more light and fluffy than flaky. I was looking for flaky. Still very good and convienent. — enigma535 Oct 15, 2009

Seasoned Goldfish Crackers

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by CarpenterGirl

Ok, as some reviews did, I used the big box of goldfish and doubled everything but kept the oil the same. My kids loved it and we have used it as a camping snack. I may add more cayenne next time. It has a bit of kick but want to push the... — enigma535 Aug 1, 2009

Baked French Doughnuts

Posted by Dreamgoddess

These are really good. Yes they are a muffin but you can bake them in a doughnut pan. I just dipped the tops in cinnamon and butter. Easier cleanup. I made 6 large dougnut muffins and 3 small but overfilled my pans a bit so I could probably... — enigma535 Aug 1, 2009

Oatmeal Granola Bars

Posted by jean1

No doubt, these were good but very gooey just didn't hold together well. I made it with raisins and would say that was a bit too sweet. Nuts might be a better option if you don't want super sweet and don't mind a bar that doesn't hold together... — enigma535 May 13, 2009

Really good, I topped with fat free cool whip which you need to use sparingly since it has a slightly chemical taste at least to someone like me..... — enigma535 May 11, 2009

Very good recipe and I guess I didn't really read the reviews but did cut the salt in half the second time I've made it. I've passed this recipe on already. Thanks for the recipe! — enigma535 May 3, 2009

Dakota Muti-Grain Bread

Posted by Chef #492524

I made this yesterday and I have to say it is now a favorite! Awesome flavor! I didn't have walnuts but I don't think that detracts from the full flavor of the bread. Man this was awesome will be making some more this next week. We sampled the... — enigma535 Apr 25, 2009

Open-Faced Egg Salad Sandwiches

Posted by ratherbeswimmin'

Made as stated and it was Excellent. I don't even like egg salad but this has completely won me over. I will probably add a bit for worcestershire sauce and pepper next time just to see how that is, but honestly, it's perfect the way it is. — enigma535 Jan 22, 2009

Cinnamon Roll Cookies

Very good, I did have a problem rolling them but it is just something that I have very little experience with so wasn't used to the stickiness. A little more time consuming for the soccer mom (me) but for the "Martha" mom, it is a great tasting... — enigma535 Nov 18, 2008

Also had these at a craft fair and did not want to part with 10 bucks if I could make them. I used fresh jalapenos and they were very good. I think you can used canned but they will end up pretty mushy. — enigma535 Nov 17, 2008

Beer Bread

Posted by Gerald Norman

This was very easy and great. Nice flavor. I used some really old Natty lite and it did a great job but on one loaf it was a bit beery flavored. I think low end beer is okay but lowest end beer may not be the best deal, still we liked it and... — enigma535 Nov 17, 2008
