Best Ever Cocktail Sauce

Posted by nowasmith

Excellent, the chili sauce kind of overpowered the rest of it though so I remade it with only half the amount of chili sauce and it was fabulous. Much better than the average "ketchup with horseradish sauce" type cocktail sauce. It was a bit... — Nyteglori Apr 9, 2009

Zesty Meatloaf

Posted by Laurielp1

Made for PAC Spring-09. This was a 5 star for taste but it did not hold together well at all. I think next time I will add an egg to it for cohesion. — Nyteglori Apr 3, 2009

"italian-Ized" Pork Chops

Posted by nowasmith

I used tomato with basil an oregano. We served it over rice and the kids asked for seconds. I would suggest using a big pan and two cans of soup and tomatoes for plenty of sauce. — Nyteglori Mar 29, 2009

3 Minute Hollandaise

Posted by Denise in da Kitchen

The mayo kind of overpowered everything else. It really does not look or taste like hollandaise but it so much easier to make. Its kind of like comparing Jello Cheesecake to a baked from scratch one. Not as good as the real thing but it will do. — Nyteglori Mar 29, 2009

Christmas Candles Centerpiece

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by 2Bleu (Bird&Buddha)

This was very easy to do and looked great, however the cherries looked way to big and way out of porportion so I used red hots instead. I would also suggest patting the pineapple dry on a paper towel first. — Nyteglori Sep 3, 2008

Season's Pecan Praline Peaches

This would have been better with slightly under-ripe peaches - good quick dessert. — Nyteglori Aug 9, 2008

Mexican Stuffed Bell Peppers

Posted by Boomette

I had never done peppers in the crock pot before. They turned out great. I dont think next time I will use quite as much water though. I used lean ground beef, homemade salsa, and pepperjack cheese for a little extra zing. — Nyteglori May 26, 2008

Spicy Macaroni and Cheese Bake

Posted by NIN4NIN

Reviewed for PAC Spring 2008. I liked the extra spicy kick of this mac and cheese recipe. The pan was almost not big enough :D — Nyteglori Apr 22, 2008

Pork Chops With Mushroom Cream Sauce - Low Carb

Posted by Daniel'sWife

This was fabulous. I added onions too the dish, sauteeing them before adding the mushrooms and continuing on from there. My chops took quite a bit longer to cook but they were thick cut. — Nyteglori Apr 19, 2008

Irish Stew

Posted by WI Cheesehead

I made this for MIH Tag game. I used an extra lean cut of meat and cubed it myself. I browned the meat in a very hot skillet sprayed lightly with oil (maybe about 1/2 t oil) otherwise I fixed as suggested. I will next time wait until about half... — Nyteglori Feb 22, 2008
