Souper Stuffed Cheese Burgers

Posted by mightyro_cooking4u

This is how I usually make burgers except I tend to just put the cheese on top like normal. We prefer cheddar or colby. — JenniferK2 Oct 27, 2009

Bacon Roll Appetizers

I forgot about these - I have not made them in so long! They are great - always quick to go and very easy to make. Will have to make them again soon. — JenniferK2 Oct 27, 2009

Clorox Anywhere Spray Copycat

(5 people found this helpful) Posted by bmcnichol

Thanks for this, much cheaper. Only one caution with it though, you might want to mix in smaller quantities that you will use faster. Bleach evaporates in water, so if you don't use this up rather quickly, you are essentially just using water.... — JenniferK2 Apr 26, 2009

Lazy Day BLT Sandwich

Posted by Thebowlerchef

Loved this - the brown sugar really made it! I did not salt the bacon because I think bacon is already pretty salty. Used Boston lettuce and added a slice of cheddar cheese - delicious! — JenniferK2 Apr 9, 2009

Hamburger Soup

Posted by DB1971

Very simple and great flavor - true comfort food. Made as written except only put half a bag of corn in (what I had) and omitted the cheese. I forgot the cheese and really didn't miss it (and I love cheese). This makes ALOT! — JenniferK2 Apr 9, 2009

Charmie's Albondigas

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Charmie777

This was fabulous! I did have a problem in that I got diced tomatoes with chiles by mistake instead of regular. For us that made it much too spicy (my fault). I wound up having to drain much of the liquid and adding broth to it just so we could... — JenniferK2 Feb 20, 2009

My grandma used to do this for me when I was a kid - was a nice break from sandwiches. — JenniferK2 Feb 12, 2009

Salisbury Steak

Posted by ratherbeswimmin'

This was good. I made the whole thing in a skillet because I was pressed for time and that was quicker. I did thin the "gravy" a bit with water and added a little worcestershire sauce, but would have liked more gravy (made mashed potates with... — JenniferK2 Feb 12, 2009

Cookie Mix Baklava Bars

Posted by Jennygal

These were fabulous! Very easy to make (made with a Greek dinner) and tasted great! In fact, we all thought it was better than the real thing, which I find after a few bites starts to become "too much" - not so with this recipe. A keeper! — JenniferK2 Feb 12, 2009

Greek Rice - Rice With Spinach and Feta

Posted by Julesong

I was the only one in my house who liked this, but I knew that going in because of the ingredients. I loved it and am sad that I won't make it more often (only because I will have to eat it all myself). — JenniferK2 Feb 12, 2009

Gyro Meat

Posted by Shaye

Wow - this was great! I was kind of skeptical, but it really tasted like the real thing - only less greasy. I didn't think the texture would be right, but it was. Delicious! — JenniferK2 Feb 12, 2009

Greek Lemon Chicken Soup

Posted by LAURIE

I wasn't crazy about this but that was just personal preference I think (was trying something new). My mom and my son both loved it though, and my son is pretty picky. For me I just didn't care for the lemon in my soup. Thought I would since I... — JenniferK2 Feb 12, 2009

Poverty Meal

Posted by Malriah

My grandma made something similar and we called it beefaroni. This was pretty good and very easy. I will make a couply of changes next time though, not because anything was wrong, but because my 4yo is picky and I got tired of picking out the... — JenniferK2 Jan 26, 2009

Lemon Garlic Chicken

Posted by kitina

This was fabulous! I used boneless, skinless chicken which I know can tend to get dry in the crockpot if you are not careful, but it turned out great! The sauce was divine! — JenniferK2 Jan 21, 2009

Beef Noodle Paprikash

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by MizzNezz

This was good! I love paprika, as does my DH, and we both thought it was a bit much though. I think next time I will only use 2T. I also omitted the green pepper just by preference. Very simple to make! — JenniferK2 Jan 13, 2009

Mr. Gokittengo's Nutella Crescents

Posted by GoKittenGo

These were fabulous! Quick and easy and very tasty. I didn't measure the Nutella, but I think I used more than 1/2T per crescent roll (I used the jumbo ones). dusting of powdered sugar made them just right! — JenniferK2 Jan 12, 2009

Apple and Cheese Salad

Posted by bluemoon downunder

This was great - nice and refreshing. I used a honeycrisp apple, subbed 1/2 C of red grapes for the raisins, mild cheddar and omitted the celery. I also left out the honey as the yogurt I used (Greek) had honey in it. This is a keeper for sure! — JenniferK2 Jan 12, 2009

Baked Italian Heros

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Lainey6605

Fabulous! I did have to bake them for about 20 minutes. I added the tomato (and some shredded lettuce) after baking. I also sprinkled red wine vinegar and olive oil along with Italian seasoning on the bottom piece of bread (in place of the... — JenniferK2 Dec 17, 2008
