Better Than Mom's Pot Roast

Posted by quirkycook

This was awesome! We loved it. I used a 3 lb roast and set the servings to 8 for extra gravy. Cooked on low for 8 hours. It was a little sweet for me so I will reduce the ketchup next time. This will be my" go to" Pot Roast — Ck2plz Nov 21, 2009

Salle's Microwave Risotto

Posted by lazyme

So yummy! A great side dish. This is your dish if you need to put more effort into a another dish. I used oil packed sun dried tomatoes and put the tomatoes b/n a couple of paper towels to soak up the oil. No need to soak if you used the oil... — Ck2plz Nov 2, 2009

Slow Cooker Italian Chicken

Posted by Camsgram

It says alot if I am rating a recipe with cream of anything-in this case cream of golden mushroom soup this high. I think the wine did the trick. It fooled my taste buds into thinking this sauce had a base made out of something else rather than... — Ck2plz Oct 26, 2009

Traditional Lasagna

Posted by Carrie Ann

This is probably the best Lasagna from RZ! I have tried at least 2 other ones. My lasagna always seems to dry out. Not with this one. This was creamy and delicious! I will definitely increase the the garlic next time. The only change I made... — Ck2plz Oct 26, 2009

Lemon Greek Chicken

Posted by mama's kitchen

I thought the chicken was great. IMO, I think the potatoes should be cooked on the side. It took forever for them to cook. I doubled the sauce and increased the garlic. I will marinate chicken in the future with this marinade. — Ck2plz Oct 18, 2009

Creamy Pasta With Chicken, Broccoli and Basil - Low Fat Version

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by LifeIsGood

This was really good. The only thing I changed was adding more garlic and used fresh tomatoes. I used spaghetti noodles. IMO, I think you need to use a smaller noodle such rigatoni or farfalle. It was hard to mix the dish. I did not add the... — Ck2plz Oct 12, 2009

Dora Benston's Pioneer Banana Bread

Posted by Grace at Sweet Grace's

Super easy and good! I threw in a handful of walnuts. I hate to admit it but I ate 1/2 of the bread. I always have to cook my bread longer b/c the center is still gooey. This has happened with every banana bread I have made. Any helpful hints... — Ck2plz Oct 9, 2009

Blue Ribbon Tater-Tot Casserole

Posted by Roxygirl in Colorado

Yummy! Comfort food but better! I say better b/c it is not the typical cream of soup dish. I used a 1 lb ground turkey and about 1/3 of ground beef that I had. I used 2 cans of soup with about 3/4 cup of milk. I did not add the cheese/onions... — Ck2plz Oct 9, 2009

Emeril's Eggplant, Sausage, and Ziti Casserole

Posted by Tina Madden

I would give this a 4 but DH loved it so that is 5 stars in my book. The only changes I made were adding garlic to the sausage and used 1 cup 1/2 and 1/2 and 1 cup fat-free milk. This pasta has a very creamy texture. IMO, you could leave out... — Ck2plz Oct 7, 2009

Super good and easy! I used all of the ingredients but cooked it differently to save time. I sauteed the onions and garlic. I put frozen chicken breasts(4-5) in crock pot first then onion/garlic mixture on top. Dumped everything else in. I... — Ck2plz Oct 5, 2009

Mediterranean Pot Roast

Great flavor! I doubled the liquid and would triple it next time. I increased the garlic to 1 1/2 T and added no salt. I will put in a regular onion next time vs. the pearl onion. I did not taste any added flavor from them. An impressive dish... — Ck2plz Oct 1, 2009

3.5. No changes were made to this recipe. Easy meal! It lacked flavor which I expected. I boiled chicken with some garlic powder and onion powder. I think next time I will either buy a rotisserie chicken or saute some onions and garlic and add... — Ck2plz Oct 1, 2009

4.5 stars! No changes were made with this recipe. I am always cautious with making a different tuna or chicken salad than my own. I loved the ingredients in this chicken salad so I thought I would give it a whirl. I love dill. The dill is not... — Ck2plz Sep 30, 2009

Spicy and Tender Crock Pot Pork Chops

This turned out pretty good. I doubled the sauce per reviews. With doubling the sauce, I decreased the brown sugar from 6-8 T to 5T, 3t worcestershire and a good shake of salt. I did add the apple and I highly recommend it. If you are a saucy... — Ck2plz Sep 29, 2009
