Low Carb Chops in Bourbon Mustard Sauce

Posted by Sally Lyn

My husband made this for dinner tonight and I thoroughly enjoyed it. He does not like mushrooms so he substituted onions which I enjoyed. I did not notice the bourbon in the taste actually-- just a fabulous melding of flavors Andreadmb Jan 7, 2009

Slow Cooker Corn Chowder

Posted by Michelle S.

Made this tonight with some leftover ham in the fridge. Really scrumptious flavor!! We did not have the mashed potato flakes to thicken so I ladled off some of the broth (maybe 2/3 cup or so) and whisked it with 3-4 tsp of corn starch and then... — Andreadmb Dec 1, 2008

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Posted by Barb Witherspoon

This is a favorite of ours! I made it for a pot luck at work tomorrow and my husband was upset and made me buy enough ingredients to make it for him this weekend!! Ha ha! I often use quite a bit more hot sauce as we like things very hot and... — Andreadmb Nov 20, 2008

Decked-Out Burgers

Posted by Just Cher

My husband made this recipe and I loved it. He used scallions in the cheese instead of regular onions and omitted the onions and it was still fantastic. In addition he added diced peppers and onions to the burgers to give them a little oomph.... — Andreadmb Apr 2, 2008

Taco Dip Supreme

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by fresh fanatic

Excellent! A nice change from taco dips that contain cream cheese (i had a hard time finding one that didn't!) My only change was to add a bunch of taco seasoning to the meat as it browned to give it more taco flavor. — Andreadmb Oct 22, 2007

Rich's Chicken Gorgonzola

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Richard-NYC

My husband made this dish and it was fantastic! He also pounded the chicken breasts as another person suggested here. He added a little bit of extra mayo to the topping as creamy as he wanted it. I LOVED it. It reheated fairly well the next... — Andreadmb Oct 20, 2007

Asian-Style Grilled Tilapia

(4 people found this helpful) Posted by SkinnyMinnie

I loved the marinade for this fish. I cooked it in a pan on the stovetop, skipped the broiler. The sauce thickened nicely in the pan. Unfortunately the fish I used (flounder) was overly fish, perhaps freezer burned I will make this again... — Andreadmb Jul 26, 2007

Asian Vinaigrette

Posted by Sue L

I thought this dressing was just okay-- a little too oily and somewhat bland. It may be yummier on a salad with fruit on it like the mandarin oranges mentioned but I just used it on a tossed salad. — Andreadmb Jul 26, 2007

Wolfgang Puck"s Creamy Mushroom Soup

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by MizzNezz

I really enjoyed this recipe but for some reason it seperated alot (the cream and the broth... perhaps because i heated it too high?). Otherwise, the flavor was very rich and delicious. I wasn't sure what the lemon juice would add but you could... — Andreadmb Apr 16, 2007

Hummus

I made this for our housewarming party and for a potluck at work-- everyone has raved about it as the best hummus they've ever had!! I've never made hummus without Tahini but I also never have tahini around the house- so i'm glad I can make good... — Andreadmb Apr 16, 2007

Garlic Shrimp

(2 people found this helpful) Posted by MizzNezz

I added a few extra veggies to this recipe to make a really yummy stir fry-- green peppers, snow peas and onions. The garlic flavor is wonderful and I like the flavor the cilantro adds (which is just as good with frozen cilantro cubes from Trader... — Andreadmb Apr 16, 2007

Crock Pot Oniony Pork Chops With Creamy Mustard Sauce

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Lennie

I loved this recipe, the sauce was such a delicious combination of flavors. I subbed half and half for the cream to cut the fat a little. We served it with the sauce over rice pilaf. Good as leftovers too! — Andreadmb Apr 16, 2007

Hungry Man Pork Tenderloin

Posted by LondonKarma

I really enjoyed this recipe. Unfortunately we could not grill it because the weather is so bad today but I can't wait to use it again on the grill! I cooked it in the oven for about 45 minutes at 350 (until the meat thermometer was at 170).... — Andreadmb Apr 16, 2007
