Artichoke, Almond, and Parmesan Pasta

Posted by recklessrequiem

It does seem simple but, artichoke hearts and almonds are not inexpensive as the catagory suggests. — Smurfetta Chef #427781 Apr 2, 2009

Elitetwig's Icebreaker Cocktail

Posted by EliteTwig

Not bad but, I would not call it 'fruity' that description makes me think of a more tropical beverage. — Smurfetta Chef #427781 Apr 2, 2009

Chicken Quiche

Posted by GrandmaIsCooking

I liked it but, the 2nd time I added broccoli and cut back by 1/4 milk (I used 1/2 & 1/2) no nutmeg & added cheddar & jack blend of cheese. — Smurfetta Chef #427781 Feb 23, 2007

Taco Quiche

I used shredded chicken in this recipe and substituted 1 cup of jack cheese for some of the cheddar. I also omitted green peppers (I don't like them). Otherwise we loved it. — Smurfetta Chef #427781 Feb 23, 2007

Garlic Salmon Linguine

Very good but, I couldn't bear to use canned salmon so I grilled a fillet and used that. — Smurfetta Chef #427781 Feb 20, 2007

Real Mashed Potatoes (A.k.a, the Ultimate Comort Food)

I like it but, I prefer to use evaporated milk in place of the cream & milk. I also like red potatoes with the skin left on. Now that's a country style mashed potato. No basil oil either. — Smurfetta Chef #427781 Jan 30, 2007

Cheesy Stuffed Chicken in Phyllo

Pretty good. I'll make it again but, without the spinach, I might try chopped broccoli instead. — Smurfetta Chef #427781 Jan 27, 2007

Pumpkin Maple Cheesecake

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Ocean~Ivy

This is the same recipe I found in an Eagle Brand leaflet. The one I tried called for 1/2 pint (1C) whipping cream for the topping. And I used regular cream cheese, not fat free. (it's too thin) — Smurfetta Chef #427781 Jan 27, 2007

This is the recipe put out in 1991 by Bacardi. It's a very good cake. — Smurfetta Chef #427781 Jan 21, 2007

Impossible Ham 'n' Swiss Pie

Posted by Andy Wold

It's an ok recipe from the back of the Bisquick box. Less milk will help it along. (yarlsberg cheese is milder). — Smurfetta Chef #427781 Jan 21, 2007

Impossible Chicken 'n' Broccoli Pie

Posted by Andy Wold

Oh yes. This is the recipe from the back of the Bisquick box from years ago. I tried it back then and changed it to i can of salmon (boneless skinless)and added a dash of smoke flavoring. Better that way. — Smurfetta Chef #427781 Jan 21, 2007
