Emily's Mongolian Beef in the Crock Pot

Posted by beccalynn

I have a similar recipe from allrecipe.coms except it calls for 1/2 C brown sugar and 1/2 C hoisin sauce. All other ingredients and instructions are the same. I think the hoisin gives it a nice flavor. — JulieCooks Oct 6, 2009

Very good. DIdn't have enough time to let it marinate. I bet it's even better with longer. Added some snow peas. Served with Hunan Chicken #28287 — JulieCooks Sep 8, 2009

Tortellini Chicken Salad With Sun-Dried Tomatoes

Delicious. It was good the first day, but even better the next when the flavors had time to meld. Made as directed, but added pine nuts. Can easily cut the dressing in half. — JulieCooks Aug 2, 2009

Everyone loved it. Nice flavor. Made as described with mashed banana. One child who won't eat banana, didn't even notice it. Reheated very nicely in the microwave. — JulieCooks Jun 15, 2009

This was alright, but didn't blow us away. I decided to make it because it sounded like it might be a bit out of the ordinary, but no one in my family loved it. — JulieCooks Jun 7, 2009

P. F. Chang's Mongolian Beef

Posted by Tish

Very good. Next time I'll use just a tad bit less sugar. Also, I would get a bit bigger flank steak to feed our family of 4, but no need to increase the sauce ingredients. Measure and prep everything ahead of time because once you start... — JulieCooks Feb 22, 2009

Prepared this the night before. Seemed too dry in the morning so added a bit more milk, then cooked it. Delicious. There was enough for the next day and it warmed up beautifully in the microwave. We all loved it and will make it again. — JulieCooks Feb 17, 2009

Chocolate Zucchini Bread

Posted by itsjustme

This was delicious and moist. It tasted like a rich chocolate cake so if you want more zucchini taste, you might have to adjust the amounts. It was done after 45 minutes so I suggest checking. — JulieCooks Sep 24, 2008

We have made this a few times and really enjoyed it. One time we substituted seltzer for the club soda because that is what we had and would not do that again. Definitely, stick with club soda. — JulieCooks Aug 2, 2008
