Amazing Giant Chocolate-Toffee Cookies

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by CarolAnn

These are beautiful, easy, soft and chewy cookies. I used a combo of bitter and semi and toasted pecans instead of walnuts. I got about 22 cookies baked for 15 minutes. Make sure to chill the batter... recipe is super easy! — greysangel Jul 2, 2007

Barefoot Contessa's Banana Sour Cream Pancakes

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Juenessa

I love buttermilk and sour cream in sweet recipes for the lightness and twang they add. This recipe produces a nice light fluffy pancake. My only change is to be generous with the lemon zest....I used close to 1 TBSP. — greysangel May 14, 2007

Satay Dip

Posted by mrose75

This is a Barefoot Contessa recipe that goes with her grilled lemon chicken skewers and it's a fantastic recipe. The dip is a little too thick for me so I usually thin it down a bit with hot water. LOVE IT! — greysangel Apr 22, 2007

Tiramisu Anacapri

Posted by hepcat

This is one of my husband's favorite Tiramisu recipes. It's not totally traditional, but I love the flavor that the pudding adds to the whole thing. I have also subbed white chocolate for the vanilla with great success. — greysangel Dec 23, 2006

Chocolate Bourbon Balls

I made these this year for my holiday cookie tray and they are addictive and delicious. Make them a few days ahead for the flavors to develop. My yield was about 2 dozen TBSP sized balls. This recipe is originally from the Baker's Field Guide... — greysangel Dec 15, 2006

Spicy Gingerbread Cookies

This is my favorite gingerbread cookie...nice and spicy and easy to work with. This is an older Martha Stewart recipe that I have been making for years. This makes a ton of dough so those must be 16 huge cookies!! — greysangel Nov 19, 2006

Cream Cheese-Banana-Nut Bread

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Miss Annie

Really excellent banana bread...wonderfully moist and light. I used cake flour (because I started it and then realized I didn't have AP) and I think that really made for a light spongy texture. I also used the Splenda baking blend because I'm... — greysangel Nov 10, 2006
