I tried this tonight, we didn't like it. It was missing some essential flavor. I followed the recipe down to the letter, using fresh cauliflower from our garden, lots of mushrooms, it just didn't have a vibrancy that we are used to in our dishes. — NitaD Aug 10, 2008

This is the recipe that I've been using for many years, just didn't have an origin. I've never come across one that was this good. I put pecans in mine, and if I'm feeling decadant, I've used cocoa nibs before, but it really changes the bread.... — NitaD Nov 1, 2006

I remember my grandmother making this one, she added whatever vegatables that she had on hand. Always the celery, onions and she would usually add some tomatos. I like to put fresh basil, thyme and oregano as well. There are so many good... — NitaD Nov 1, 2006
