Kim's Sweet Potato Casserole

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Malriah

Great easy recipe... especially bc I used canned sweet potatoes/yams (I large and 1 small can). I also did not use the marshmellows. The topping is what makes this so delicious. I used crushed almonds, b.c it was I had in the pantry. — lmkga Oct 24, 2009

Reeses Squares - 5 Ingredients & No Bake (Reese's)

Posted by Karen=^..^=

Easy... a crowd pleaser. I cut the recipe by 1/3... and there were enough small bars (which are rich, so small works!) for a party of 10 people. — lmkga Sep 9, 2009

Spicy Squash Bread

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by ratherbeswimmin'

Very moist and delicious. I had previously made zucchini bread, but never squash bread ... and I'm glad to have a recipe for it now for extra squash from the garden. I might add raisins or nuts to the recipe next time. Also, I only baked it for 55... — lmkga Jun 28, 2009

Kittencal's Moist Turkey Burgers for the Grill (Low Fat)

Posted by KITTENCAL

These were good and moist, but I would add some more punch to it. (More bbq sauce, cumin, or hot sauce). I loved having the carrots in there... a nice surprise to add moisture and nutrition! — lmkga May 1, 2009

Shrimp Enchiladas

Delicious! A bit rich.... I might cut down on the cream soups and add a can of choped tomatoes next time for the sauce. Also, I added cilantro to the filling and topping. yum! — lmkga Mar 7, 2009

Kittencal's Easy One-Bowl Vanilla Cupcakes

Posted by KITTENCAL

I made these and served them about 4 hours later. They were not good and although the birthday boy was gracious, he agreed that they are not a "redo". I used the icing from Vanilla Buttercream Frosting (From Sprinkles Cupcakes) which was very tasty. Basically, everyone was eating the... — lmkga Feb 15, 2009

I actually forgot to add the parmesan cheese. My hubbie thought it would've been even better with it, but I loved it, and didn't miss it (or those calories that would have come with it!) — lmkga Jan 31, 2009

Lemon Soy Swordfish With Avocado Butter

Posted by Engrossed

Yum and wow! I used sesame oil as a substitution for the salad oil, and also did not use the avacado butter b/c I did not have the necessary ingredients. I look forward to trying that next time.... but the swordfish was delicious with this marinade. — lmkga Oct 26, 2008

Apple Honey Bars

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by KC_Cooker

Definitely tasty and moist. It is more of a cake than a bar (as others have said). I used whole wheat flour and otherwise followed recipe exactly. Next time, I think I'll make it in a loaf pan, add raisins and nuts and see how that works. — lmkga Sep 30, 2008

Yummy Crunchy Caramel Apple Pie

I baked this and it looked and smelled awesome. Believe it or not, I dropped the pie face down on my way into the holiday dinner I was going to. A testament to this pie... is people ate it anyways!! A little dirt never hurt anyone! — lmkga Sep 29, 2008
