Posted by Karen=^..^=

I used this recipe with Strawberry Rhubarb Pie strawberry rhubarb pie, and it turned out amazing! Thank you! It made nice crunch noises when we cut into the lattice top I made. I brushed with egg wash and sprinkled with sugar. SO easy :D — iglowforyou Jul 11, 2009

This pie turned out amazing. I've never made one before. I used the lattice top, an egg wash on both crusts, and sprinkled sugar on top before baking. We ate it when it was just a little warm still and it's juicy, but mostly holds together. I'm... — iglowforyou Jul 11, 2009

I'm making this right now. It smells really good! I made a few changes. I don't know if it's fair to rate the recipe when I change it, but I will. :D I added 1tbsp crushed ginger, 2tbsp brown sugar, and some red pepper flakes instead of black... — iglowforyou May 4, 2009

Our Traditional Pierogies

Posted by Darlene28

I made this in a giant turkey roaster. I used chives instead of onions. I used 6KG of perogies and I figured on 4 L of cream, but I could only fit just under 2 Litres in! I did layer my perogies close together, to fit them all in. It turned out... — iglowforyou Jul 6, 2008

Delicious Low-Fat Strawberry Banana Muffins

I substituted sour cream for the yogurt because it's what I had, and added a handful of chopped macadamia nuts. I used half whole wheat flour but ran out and finished with white flour. I even cut the sugar to about 1/2 cup and they turned out... — iglowforyou May 23, 2008

Unbaked Fudge Cookies

Posted by MirandaLee

This is the only recipe for these that I have found which turns out a cookie that is actually chewy and fudgy, and not drier and crumblier. Awesome tasty morsels. I think everyone around here ate these growing up. We call them haystacks. — iglowforyou Apr 10, 2008

Saltine Candy / Toffee

My friends loved it at Christmas!!! I found the nuts didn't add much and did a lot of falling off. Anyways, delicious. Be careful because this boiled WAY over in my oven and it was a terrible mess... Still good though! — iglowforyou Jan 22, 2008

Very good! Everyone I shared these with loved them, the perfect mix, not TOO sweet. The base was nice, a bit chewy and a little different from what I'm used to but I prefer it. I won't use another recipe. — iglowforyou Jan 22, 2008
