Mine were a touch dry but I didn't mind. I do think I'll add more spices next time though. I made the first pan as written other than using margarine instead of butter. The second pan, I forgot the garlic (crime against humanity!!!), used the Zaar... — Sam #3 Nov 20, 2009

Chicken Chili

I used onions in place of the leeks, no cumin seed (only have ground), kidney beans instead of garbanzo beans and much less broth as we like our chilis thick. Otherwise followed the recipe topped with cheese. DD said it was fantastique! I have to... — Sam #3 Nov 11, 2009

Bulgur Breakfast

Posted by Debbwl

Very interesting! I've had bulgur sitting in my house since I discovered it, but had yet to make anything with it. Not sure if I did anything wrong since I've never made it before, but it wasn't quite as soft as oatmeal. I forgot the butter and... — Sam #3 Nov 10, 2009

Since I only had one small can of chili, I mixed it up a little... I added an extra can of kidney beans, a can of cheddar cheese soup and about a cup of corn. This made 1 large casserole for supper and 2 single serve casseroles for the freezer. — Sam #3 Oct 27, 2009
