Basic Pancake Mix

Posted by Sackville

These had a good texture once I added a few tablespoons extra flour (too runny after adding only 1 1/4 C milk). However I agree with another reviewer that the taste is way too eggy. Maybe will try with just one egg next time. — Chef #329119 Aug 22, 2008

Three-Cup Chicken

Posted by Grace Lynn

Delicious! I used to go with my family to a local Taiwanese eatery and this three-cup chicken has just about the same wonderful flavor--very authentic. The thai basil really gives it that spicy aroma that differentiates this dish from ordinary... — Chef #329119 May 28, 2008

Brownies (With Carrot and Spinach)

Posted by Karen in OC

The only change I made was to use whole eggs, and rather than flour only I substituted with half oats ground up in the blender and half all-purpose flour. I used Girardhelli chocolate chips for the semisweet chocolate. They were pretty good and... — Chef #329119 Apr 13, 2008

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Vino Girl

Wendy's Chili

Buttermilk Biscuits

Posted by Sue L

These were great. My first success at making biscuits! My only substitution was, I used vegan shortening (no trans fat--yay!!) to make these "healthier", and I did brush with a couple tbsp melted butter. They didn't rise a ton like the picture... — Chef #329119 Jan 5, 2008

Vietnamese Beef Stew (Bo' Kho)

(4 people found this helpful) Posted by Nolita_Food

My husband who's Vietnamese (and whose mom makes fantastic Vietnamese home cooking) raved about this after I made it. I browned the meat and onions, then threw them & all the other stuff into a slow cooker (out of sheer laziness), adding some red... — Chef #329119 Dec 13, 2007
