Almond Pound Cake

Posted by Jenny Sanders

love this cake. Made it 5 times already. My son and his friends love it too. I cut back a bit on the sugar, even though its only a cup, and I don't bother to blanch the almonds. Still taste great. Also only use 5 tablespoons of butter. — Dotalee Feb 4, 2008

Wow, love this chicken. My family loves it too. Nice and moist. The mustard gives it a nice tang-not too overpowering. Delicious. I followed the recipe exactly the first time. The second time-had to make it again because its so good-I added about... — Dotalee Jan 6, 2008

The Most Wonderful Gingerbread Cookies

Posted by gingerkitten D

These were great! I halfed the recipe because it was my first time. The first batch I rolled too thin for my liking, but the second batch I rolled a little thicker, and they were perfect. Did not have a problem with sticky dough. Dough was real... — Dotalee Jan 3, 2008

First time making a vegetarian soup. This is a classy soup. Easy to prepare, and oh so healthy. Great with a piece of whole grain bread. The curry gives it a nice little tangy taste - not overpowering, and the dill is sublime. Will be making this... — Dotalee Dec 10, 2007

Lemon-Irish Whiskey Cake

Posted by PanNan

Delicious cake, with a different taste. The whiskey definately added a nice twist. After a day or two in the fridge it reminded me little of biscotti. Wonderful with a cup of tea. Will be making this often. — Dotalee Jul 16, 2007

Dark Chocolate Cake

Posted by Marg (CaymanDesigns)

This has become my chocolate cake recipe. I have made this cake about six times so far. Just love it. I use green and blacks cocoa-so I sort of think its kind of healthy. Also, I cut the sugar in half. Still taste great. — Dotalee Jul 16, 2007

Bechamel Sauce

Posted by Mole

Loved the taste. It was very easy to make. This is my second time making it. Didn't have any heavy cream on hand, so I left it out. It was still great, and probably less calories. Used it for vegetable lasagna, and family loved it too. — Dotalee Jul 16, 2007
