Healthy No Bake Cookies

Posted by ShaGun

Four stars for the taste, but for some reason, I could get mine to hold together. I'm eating the crumbled mix out of a bowl with a spoon! I subbed Soy Milk and Splenda. Taste is wonderful. Just wish it would have held together. — gigglesmurf Feb 4, 2009

Sausage Balls

Posted by Fauve

Made this in under 30 minutes for a Halloween party. Used between 1 1/2 and 1 3/4 cups of Bisquick. Also added two splashes of milk. Just be sure that your mix doesn't fall to the bottom of the bowl; integrate it well with the sausage (I ended... — gigglesmurf Oct 31, 2006

Meatloaf Barbecue Style

Posted by Bev

The juice was really high in the pan, so I pierced the meat on the bottom in various places so that it would soak in somewhat. I cooked this for an hour and 15 minutes, but it was still really pink on the inside. I'm sure it was "done" by health... — gigglesmurf Oct 23, 2006

Better Than Frozen French Bread Pizza

Posted by Dancer^

Nice and easy. I bought 2 loaves of garlic parmesan bread for $1.25 from WalMart. That night I made this recipe with cheese and mushrooms. The next day, I replaced the sauce with barbeque sauce and some leftover barbeque meat. I left the rest... — gigglesmurf Oct 23, 2006

Steak & Mushroom Hoagies

Posted by Shae

As I always do, I had problems with the sloppiness of the hoagies. But I can always bring out a fork and knife! I bought the WalMart brand of frozen cheesesteaks, which were very easy to slice up after they had sat out of the freezer for a few... — gigglesmurf Oct 23, 2006

Bbq Chicken Pizza

Posted by alijen

Tastes very nice. I had some trouble shredding the gouda, because it is so soft, but other than that, I liked this recipe alot. I usually can't stand onions on pizza, but on this one, they taste pretty dang good! — gigglesmurf Oct 23, 2006

Portabella Penne

Posted by Barb Gertz

This tasted nice, but the sauce was very herby, meaning that the herbs clumped together alot (and also got stuck in our teeth, lol). But if you're home with your loved one who doesn't mind helping you pick things out of your teeth, it's a nice... — gigglesmurf Oct 23, 2006

Mushroom-Stuffed Hamburger Steaks

Posted by ratherbeswimmin'

Really tasty. I included some cheese slices (torn in half) with the mushroom mixture inside of the burgers. It ran out a little, but meh, it still tasted great. I also topped mine with bacon, and a few slices of avocado as well. — gigglesmurf Oct 23, 2006

Fall Harvest Rice Krispies Treats

Posted by Erin Crable

I had never made Rice Krispie Treats before, and this was a very pleasing result for a first time experience. I served mine in a smaller than 9x13 dish (not sure of the exact measurements), and they were very thick. I also arranged the pumpkins... — gigglesmurf Oct 23, 2006

Pumpkin Pie Dip

Posted by ratherbeswimmin'

I served this as a snack before dinner, and a pumpkin pie afterwards. I'm pretty sure this was more popular than the pumpkin pie. I served with apples, cinnamon Teddy Grahams, and ginger snaps (with a row candy corn and marshmallow pumpkins... — gigglesmurf Oct 23, 2006

Easy Guacamole

Posted by Lisa in Oregon

So easy...can be made within 5 minutes! Be careful with the onion powder though, because it can easily overpower the rest of the ingredients. My SO's mom had never tried guacamole (was always hesitant because of the appearance)...and she loved... — gigglesmurf Oct 23, 2006

Chili Con Carne With Beans

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Marty Hugo

I halved the recipe, and forgot to adjust cooking time. So be sure to watch for that if you half it. It still was a good meal, just less "soupy" than I'm used to chili being (which was my fault). Also, I usually eye my ingredients (which may be... — gigglesmurf Oct 23, 2006

Mashed Sweet Potatoes

(3 people found this helpful) Posted by Kimke

I never knew that peeling sweet potatoes is so difficult! Be sure to leave time for that if you're not a champion peeler. I was also worried about the liquid amount, but it all turned out okay. After I mashed them, they needed a little more... — gigglesmurf Oct 23, 2006

Hot Apple Cider Punch

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Miss Erin

Quick and easy to put together, with a delightful taste. I used spice bags, but some of the sediment still leaked out into the cider. Not that it mattered...still tasted great! Some of my guests put whipped cream on top of theirs. Just be... — gigglesmurf Oct 23, 2006
