Steak Marinade, Quick and Easy

Posted by Keri Caldwell

Very good marinade! I was only able to marinate about 10 minutes, but the flavor was there. Would be even better to let it sit in the marinade longer. I will definitely do this one again. — Chef Jodi Town Oct 18, 2009

Slow Simmered Spaghetti and Meatballs (Crock Pot)

Posted by Impera_Magna

Very quick and easy! DH loved it, and we had leftovers the next night. One change I may make next time is to saute the onion before adding to the crock-pot, but it's definitely a keeper! — Chef Jodi Town Sep 28, 2009

Salisbury Steak My Way

Posted by Karen From Colorado

A very good recipe that I will make again, but I found it a bit salty for our tastes. I would leave off the tsp of salt, as the amount in the soup mix should be sufficient. I also browned over high heat, removed from pan, made the gravy, then... — Chef Jodi Town Sep 21, 2009

Ex- Mother in Law's Pork Chops With Cream of Mushroom

Posted by BamaKathy

I've been making a version of this for years. I cube the chops before browning. Then pour the soup over the top of the cubed chops, stir until the soup is creamy, then put a lid on the skillet and simmer for an hour, stirring occasionally. I serve... — Chef Jodi Town Sep 21, 2009

Nanny's Tomato Soup

Posted by Elizabeth Fullerton

Very good tomato soup. I added some chicken boullion to the potatoes and onions for a little more flavor, as well as some crushed red pepper, because my DH likes it with everything. I didn't drain the potatoes, and only used half the amount of... — Chef Jodi Town Feb 9, 2009

Grilled Chicken and Pesto Farfalle

Posted by Ex-Pat Mama

This was pretty good. Would have been better if I'd remembered to add salt to the sauce. I also didn't have fresh basil, so had to use dried. But it came out pretty good anyway. DH had seconds. Thanks for the recipe! — Chef Jodi Town Sep 4, 2008

Onion Stuffed Roast Chicken With Potatoes

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by A Messy Cook

This was the best roast chicken that's ever come out of my kitchen. I roasted a 5.5 lb chicken (wanted leftovers for later in the week) and cooked for 2 hours at 400. I also added quarted red potatoes and large chunk carrots after the first hour.... — Chef Jodi Town Jun 1, 2008

Kittencal's Best Blasted Rapid-Roast Whole Chicken

Posted by KITTENCAL

This was a very moist and flavorful roast chicken. I used a 5-6 lb roaster, so increased the time accordingly. But the high temp did seem to hold in the moisture well. Had to cover with foil the last 20 minutes so it wouldn't over-brown. I used my... — Chef Jodi Town Apr 14, 2008

Baked Potato With Rosemary

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Unkle Leo

My DH and I loved these potatoes. Have made them before with thin slices of onion set between the potato slices, as well. I made your version tonight to go with ribeye steaks and a salad. I used both rosemary and garlic powder to top. Enjoyed very... — Chef Jodi Town Mar 20, 2008

Simply the Best Skillet Pork Chops Ever

Posted by NancysFancies

Very good recipe! Easy and quick. I went with the water & wine, and didn't use the ginger powder (didn't have any). Also, I used a little cornstarch to thicken the gravy a bit more. Wonderful flavor, and so simple. Thanks for a keeper! — Chef Jodi Town Mar 16, 2008

This was very good! I used a 5 cheese ravioli, and some leftover meat sauce I had in the freezer. I also used a mozzarella/parmesan cheese blend. My DH loved it! Thanks for this easy, tasty recipe. — Chef Jodi Town Feb 21, 2008

I love this recipe! My DH and I eat a lot of chicken, and the lemon and parsley in the sauce really adds something special. I'm not a caper fan, so left those out, but it was great anyway. Thanks for posting! We'll use this one a lot. — Chef Jodi Town Jan 22, 2007

My husband and I loved these. Great mexican flavor. I used ground turkey instead of chicken, and fat-free refried beans. They came out great! And they freeze really well. Thanks for the wonderful recipe. — Chef Jodi Town Jan 22, 2007

Grilled Herbed Corn on the Cob

(1 person found this helpful) Posted by Mille® ™

Nothing better than grilled corn in the husk! I have made it this way many times, but have not soaked in water. I guess it keeps the husks from browning so much. Either way, it has a wonderful grilled flavor. — Chef Jodi Town Jul 30, 2006
