This was absolutly delicious. Me and my BF finished the whole thing. I didnt have any chestnuts or bamboo shoots, but instead i added carrots and some bean sprouts. it was wonderful. thank you for such a good recipe. — Dee84 Mar 9, 2006

The white cheese is goat cheese thats boiled in salt water and then compressed into jars. there is really no specific name for it has Palestinians call it "Jibneh Badah" which is only translated into "white cheese" Its not Feta, or Haloumi. but... — Dee84 Feb 14, 2006
